Entitled Woman Refuses To Leave Hotel, Goes Away in Cuffs

On August 29th, 2023, officers responded to a verbal disturbance. Upon arriving at the scene, hotel staff informed them that a female guest had been arguing with other guests and they wanted her removed from the premises. The couple continued arguing even after the officer repeatedly requested that they come out of their room. The officer wanted to talk to the woman about the incident. This is when things began escalating. She continued to abuse the officer and be uncooperative. The female was charged with trespass, resisting arrest and battery upon a peace officer.

I blame it on lack of parental leave and not enough quality childcare. Children learn emotional regulation in their earliest years. 12 weeks isn’t enough time to help an infant learn to self calm, and then if you’ve got bad daycare, they aren’t taught to self regulate there either. Countries that are doing better (Sweden, Norway, Korea, Japan, etc) have much longer, paid, parental leave, and then good quality daycare after that. It takes 20 years to notice the difference, but it WORKS. I’m in Canada. We have paid parental leave up to 18 months, and they’re implementing a $10/day daycare benefit, so that any amount over that is paid by the government. It should improve daycare a lot! I really notice that Canadian and American culture are diverging- we have a very strong focus on social skills, anti-bullying, inclusion, social justice, empathy skills, etc in our schools. My kids are teens, and they’re nothing like the Gen z kids in the US. They’re better behaved than their parents! 😂

I had to deal something like this as a security gaurd. The reason the guy has to go as well is because th3y are together and property management can't risk him inviting her back in. Cause at that point both of them would be arrested so to attempt to avoid that, they rather just remove them both.
