Thank you so much! My husband and I were arguing about the fact that I've been acting rather entitled of late... this talk helped to open my eyes. THANK YOU.

Damn, a simple message, but one that honestly we miss at first and can honestly forget easily. Great analogy, and great advice for everyone myself included

The sources of entitlement are not fully understood, but researchers have pointed to factors such as how people are treated by their parents and other authority figures, messages from the media, and other life events, especially those that make people feel that they are special. Self-entitlement is when an individual perceives themselves as deserving of unearned privileges. These are the people who believe life owes them something; a reward, a measure of success, a particular standard of living. THIS HITS HARD!!

This talk is nothing short of amazing. Very valuable lessons, even if obvious, yet not practiced enough by many. Thank you.

Both watching this talk several times and actually meeting Eli as a short term employee in the past year literally changed my life! It took me some rather extreme circumstances to wash off the entitlement, but I've always been one to learn things the hard way 🤣

Entitlement is everything because there is nothing to achieve unless it is pleasurable to achieve and live life to leave better than the way we exist as materials of experiencing pleasure instead of knowing pleasure as it is.

I am imagining the feeling of entitlement apart from being entitlement. Someone gave a child a toffee and it can flaunt it until it is not eaten by it. It looks good and is good. It brings happiness and feels sweet.

Dear Daniel, I regret to inform you that due to the supply chain issues that plague our society, we are unable to make the bronze medal you believe that you are entitled to. We apologize for the inconvenience.
