ENTP and ISFJ! the pair that a lot of you have been waiting for, and I really hope that you all like it and that I didn't mess up on anything :)
I think this one will be the last one for the elevator series. I only planned on doing the opposite types, not just any two, although I agree that it would also be entertaining to see the all the other combinations as well.

A drug addict would never choose to be homeless if he could just be guaranteed a room to live where he can do as much drugs as he wants. They take to the streets because it's a choice between a roof and the drugs they are addicted to for any number of reasons. It IS often due to mental illness. It isn't to say addicts shouldn't be given help for their addiction, but not everyone will overcome it. A rich asshole can die of an overdose in his mansion. Why can't these unfortunate people be entitled to a roof too? It isn't just SJ's who take things seriously. Us INFP's do too. Except I would debate the ENTP back harder on such a topic. I guess they like that.

Lelah S I think it’s more that ISFJ and ENTP are personalities that clash in that sense, that they can’t really comprehend or understand why the other would say or do that. As an ENTP myself, I guess this ENTP was realising that the other person was not one to be up for a debate or understood, that he wanted to strike up a (for him) interesting convo. I think an ENTP with better-developed Fe does things a little differently. ISFJ: I do this volunteer thing for the homeless. ENTP: (hmm, I wonder if it’s actually effective or if it’s not making any real difference? Let’s find out...) Oh, cool! So what kinds of things do you do? ISFJ: We have a soup kitchen and offer counselling services. ENTP: (that might offer some short term benefits, but it’s not really tackling the larger issue) that’s really nice! So... what is the charity’s long term mission? ISFJ: What do you mean? ENTP: Their long term plan, you know, what is their *mission*? Do they want to tackle the causes of homelessness? Do they want to change laws to further protect the homeless or to make it easier for people to seek drug addiction treatment? Do they want to help these people get back into employment or.... Sometimes I have a set in stone opinion, like everyone does, but it’s not as common as people expect ENTP to be like. The body language of both types was really accurate. 😂 I'm not sure if this is prevalent in all ISFJs, but staring off into space and retreating into my head to synthesize while someone is talking and at the same time not making eye contact... the accuracy hurts. I personally don't argue with just anyone for fun because (1) I was raised differently than that (people tell me I'm often too nice--I agree), and (2) I've been in so many pointless, irrational arguments that arguing makes me exhausted sometimes (hence, me picking my battles). Watching logical, information-based debate can be entertaining to me, though. 🍿 Many people write me off as argumentative when I'm just tryin' to be helpful and let them know that they may have inaccurate information. I love that you love him for it. I also love that you’re saying POSITIVE things about him and his personality type, rather than negative. Sometimes my kiddos get frustrated with their ENTP father but I teach my children how to extract what’s good about a person and let go of the negative parts. I teach them to examine their own “negative” parts so they may either choose to strengthen that part to be used for future possible defence (in a healthy and controlled way). Or they may incorporate it in a positive way and make it useful so the negative parts don’t become stagnant, vile and rancid as they do in so many poor, sad souls.

My father is an ENTJ, I’m an INTJ, and cannot stress enough how much I HATE him repeating the same thing over and over.. and yes, over again, and demanding attention each time. In casual conversation ENTJs and INTJs might get along for a while, but living together is a hell of a task. INTJs fierce independence doesn’t mix well with ENTJs demands for attention and followers. 😄I am an ISFJ and once i had a similiar convo with an extrovert not sure which specific type...about people with a cardboard sign saying they are hungry. When i get grocercies i usually buy some kind bars&bottled water to hand out to anyone that i will see that is hungry or thirsty. I want to be prepared.Sometimes i purchase gift cards at food places so they can enjoy a warm meal when it is a good time for them or i will go pick it up myself&hand deliver it to them.
