* Solid mein bhi entropy change hoti hai jab solid melt ho ya solid deform ho. * Jab ek ball hill par se neeche girta hai to usmein do main changes aate hain. 1. jab ball hill ki surface se takrata hai to friction ki wajah se ball ka temperature increase hota hai jis ki wajah se ball ke molecules ka motion increase hota hai jis ki wajah se entropy bhi increase hojati hai. 2.Second reason hai jab ball hill ki surface se takrata hai to friction ki wajah se ball mein deformation hota hai aur ball ke molecules mein kinetic energy heat energy mein convert hojati hai jis ki wajah se entropy increase hojati hai.

The second law of thermodynamics states that a spontaneous process increases the entropy of the universe, Suniv > 0. If ΔSuniv < 0, the process is nonspontaneous, and if ΔSuniv = 0, the system is at equilibrium.
