Met good ole Chip at an after party back in the 90s, he introduced himself to me and I couldn't help my self. Chip - "Hi I'm Chip Z Nuff" ME - "Hey are you any relation to Chip Z Ahoy" ? Burst of Laughter in the room, women all around us. He didn't know what to say, just turned and walked away Good times man. Love this band, they should of been way bigger for sure. Too bad thier egos and drug usage were way bigger than any success they would ever see. True story kids.

The current lineup with Chip singing is by far the bast lineup to day.. They are fun to watch! They're all incredible musicians! & this song is the best thing I've heard anyone do in a long time!! I LOVE the cheap video look,, it's fun & funny and new school glammy! Too bad pissy pants Donnie can't get his shit together... So he has to slam Chip for keeping the torch held high! I want a FULL album from this version of the band... Chips has a way catchier voice anyway... They were the highlight of the Kiss Kruise!! Can't wait to see them again!

Chip is tarnishing what little respect the band has left. New sound ? No. New band ? this is more like it and it ain't EZN in anything other than name. He couldn't book a gig with this rubbish unless he calls it EZN. I love EZN but the current pseudo EZN is crap.
@JakeTheSlinger7 жыл бұрын
Really? So you think this band is nothing without Donny, the man who's given his total blessing to the current line-up, and to Chip taking over the role of lead singer. You need to get into life my friend because you clearly don't understand what learning and living is all about. you don't understand change, and it's ramifications, LIFE is passing YOU by... change good, not change bad... can't break it down any more than that.
@javtimestwo7 жыл бұрын
change is good, but this product is not very good anymore. i don't care of Donnie gave his blessing to this version of EZN. matter of fact, i would be shocked if Donnie gave his blessing to Chip running the name of EZN further into the ground.

Ouch! That's painful! The song is OK but the cheap video is really a let down. And when you associate such video to such great band it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, thank you again Grungegate!
@raypowers80838 жыл бұрын
Chip explained it to me, and I promise to publish the interview this weekend, but he said that they had just played Kung Fu Necktie in Philly, and St. Vitus Bar in Brooklyn. They found themselves on the seamy side of nighttime with 12-15 transvestites running around and he said 'Perfect setting for a video!'. It's raw and gritty, and per Chip, indicative of where the band is today.

it was shot that way on purpose. they were standing across the street from the gig at st vitus in brooklyn. and he went over to chat with them, and it was filmed. its the perfect compliment to where the band is today. moving forward.

The video is horrible. sounds a lot like the STP song with the here she comes, however this was recorded in 88-89 before STP came out. Its sad this band went down hill, the quality in composition just isn't there anymore. Bad video, bad song.
@matthewpaluch7778 жыл бұрын
LOL! The chorus is definitely a monkee's ripoff!
@ryant36008 жыл бұрын
Actually most of these songs I read were left overs during the early 90's, animals.. era. Which was highly compared to Beatles stuff and was actually reviewed as a modern Beatles like album.. And of course the Monkees were an American Beatles rip off, so I can see how you come to the Monkee's thing.. But Animals album for me is their prime and absolute best...Cant wait to get this album
@matthewpaluch7778 жыл бұрын
Ryan T Hey Ryan, I agree. Animals is enuff znuff's pinnacle. (even though Strength is my favorite) After Derrick, then Vikki left they would never be the same!
@ryant36008 жыл бұрын
Matthew Paluch Yeah Strength was excellent too, and honestly I didn't think they could top it.. But Animals for me was just perfect. The timing it was released, and of course that album just brings back tons of great memories.. I was 19, on my own and having a lot of fun in life back then and that was kinda like a soundtrack to my life that year.. ha..

Not only the Monkee's but anyone that listened to Stone Temple Pilots in their prime of grunge era would clearly hear the blatant rip off of "here I come....from the song Sex Type Thing. Still it's refreshing in this day and age I guess to hear something other than the stuff out today :/
@DavidSush1 Жыл бұрын
Stealing bits from Scorpions and Stone Temple Pilots on this one. Kind of catchy, though. But nowhere near as good as Chip and Donnie together in Enuff Z'Nuff. I wish they'd record and tour together again like the brothers they should be. Chip is not a lead singer, try as he may.
