This was just what I needed. I am making my daughter-in-law a special embroidered pillow case and did not know how to do this type of envelope cover. Your instructions were very concise and easy. This was a God-send for sure, I had fancy leftover Dino scales fabric my out of state grandson loves and was able to whip up a pillow last nite (to take on the plane) ONLY due to your EASY directions that my spaced out over-tired brain was just not generating for me❤️THANK YOU🇺🇸😊

17” because of the size of the pillow 16” and 25” to form the overlap

@@TheBrokenNeedle I had that very same question, but what does the 25 represent? I know the top is calculated as 1” bigger than the 16…….. I’ll be using a 12 X 16. Thanks

You’re very welcome! Glad you are getting started with sewing. The cutting tool is called a rotary cutter. You can find them in quilt shops like ours. 😀
