Thank you so much for this quick and easy to follow tutorial! I'm new to sewing so I need tutorials for the simple stuff, but sometimes you get 15 minute long tutorials for such simple things like this envelope pillowcase. This video was super helpful and straight to the point.

This was just what I needed. I am making my daughter-in-law a special embroidered pillow case and did not know how to do this type of envelope cover. Your instructions were very concise and easy. I love having the directions down below as well. Tomorrow I will take your video into my sewing room and try this!!! Thanks again for an easy to understand tutorial especially for this beginner.

This was a God-send for sure, I had fancy leftover Dino scales fabric my out of state grandson loves and was able to whip up a pillow last nite (to take on the plane) ONLY due to your EASY directions that my spaced out over-tired brain was just not generating for me❤️THANK YOU🇺🇸😊

5/2/2021: Hey Wendy girl, I posted earlier today and, I didn't just make one, but two, with a third in the wings, but both came out WONDERFUL. Thanks again for your fabulous tutorial. What is my pillow is 36-in wide by 28-in high How would I know how to cut the back panels?

17” because of the size of the pillow 16” and 25” to form the overlap

@@TheBrokenNeedle I had that very same question, but what does the 25 represent? I know the top is calculated as 1” bigger than the 16…….. I’ll be using a 12 X 16. Thanks

You’re very welcome! Glad you are getting started with sewing. The cutting tool is called a rotary cutter. You can find them in quilt shops like ours. 😀
