Rexy 1.0.8 I meant the non avian dinosaurs. In other words, so far as I remember, by the Cretaceous you would find some birds that bore resemblance to modern groups, and some that bore more resemblance towards dinosaurs, with teeth and long tails.

Oh no... this worries me. I'm honestly scared that my computer isn't good enough to run this. Ever. And it's not like I have a lot of spare coin laying around to buy better specs... What I'm asking is- will it be possible for people with not-so-great computers to run this game? I imagine it won't look quite as beautiful, but at this point I don't really care. Not at the moment. the console goal was not reached during the kickstarter. Any console port is not likely until long after the game is completed and released on PC.

LifeSoul For 1, they want everyone to be able to play the game. Not only people that have amazing PCs. This is one of the reasons Acheroraptor was cut from the playable dinosaur list, it was too small, and to keep the game from looking bad from the Acheroraptor's POV they'd have had to make amazing detail that not all PCs can handle. 2, there is still much polishing to be done, seeing as how the release of the demo is going to be in early 2017.

Science FictioNation I didn't complain about texture. I complained about the graphics. U now, how realistic the ferns move to the wind, the sunlight gleaming through the leafs. Dust settling or moving due to wind activity. ETC. just detail that in my opinion they should be looking at. I mean they are going through the trouble of talking to archeologists to make 100 and 10% realistic Dinos, they should do the same to make the surroundings equal to the Dino.

I think you are a bit confused on what you are expecting here then. All the plants featured in this video are also as accurate as we can possibly portray them (plus pretty much all plant assets in this video are getting a rework), and have also received expert advice on their reconstruction and look. All ground textures (though you can't see them well here) were also meticulously constructed to match the environment. We have no post processing effects in this video (visible fog, antialiasing, extra effects such as dust or leaves blowing in the wind) as that is not the point of what we are trying to show. This was a demonstration of foliage density, and nothing else.

You have anisotropic filtering turned off, making the ground look terribly blurry. That's not what you want to do; for gaming it is a set it and forget it option and has very little impact on performance. For showing off your game it should almost be embarassing to have it turned off by mistake.
