I myself never owned an Enya engine but a friend of mine who flew control line combat got a .35 and in testing his flying wing went so fast that the wing literally exploded in flight from the stress placed on it .. and this wing was covered with silk rather than the usual paper to prevent this type of failure ... I was and am very impressed by the brand ...Enya

A W E S O M E !!!!!!!!!! I told you how good these are ... I have plenty of Enya 2 stroke engines .. they are simply the BEST sport engines you can ever have .. OS comes a close second. By the way, the Enya X series are to be compared with the OS FSR series ( apples to apples comparison) .. Maaan, you got yourself an outstanding engine. Good video as well and good call on the FAI fuel. Once in a while you can try 5% nitro but those engines are meant to run on low to no nitro at all. Good one David !!!!

I am a little late to the game here. Bought a nib 60x at a swap meet for 45 bucks many years ago. Countless gallons of FAI hombrew have been run through it in my Kaos. It still runs like brand new many years later. In fact, i was so impressed I bought at least 4 others NIB on ebay and have them in my stash. Probably the best running engine I've ever had in 30 years in the hobby.

Hi love your video's 👍🏻 I have bought a Enya 60X model 7101 but without a exhaust. Do you know of a good replacement exhaust ?

Try a Bisson strap on low DB muffler, they work great on that engine.

how do you know how to tune the engine? because at least with nitro cars you can see the difference.
@dmrcflyr27 жыл бұрын
Interesting question. Well you use a tachometer and experience. A tachometer will tell instantly whether you are reaching peak RPM and it can also be used for tuning the low end. But I have been tuning engines for nearly 30 years, so experience comes in to play as well.

interesting I've all ways wondered how people do it, i just got into the nitro hobby (buggy) and thursday i did the first tank of the break in process, it's a lot harder to start it than i thought as i haven't done it before

Well I hope you have a LOT of money to spend! I ran glow cars and trucks for a few years. They are WAY more expensive than airplanes. Each time you break something on the car/truck break out another $100 or so. You end up spending more time cleaning and repairing them than you do running them.

that's a great motor enya produced. would be interesting to compare to an OS 61 FSR.
