Through a recommendation, I stumbled upon "The Contortionist " yesterday and I must say, I am thoroughly enthralled by what I've experienced so far. These musicians exhibit an extraordinary passion, and their compositions are nothing short of intricate masterpieces, woven with a remarkable blend of musical and lyrical finesse. Their music resonates deeply, striking a profound chord within the soul. As someone has already mentioned here, the arrangement presented here is award-worthy - the mixing is of an exceptionally high standard and the sound quality is simply outstanding. I find myself at a loss for words, utterly amazed by their talent and artistry. (20/6/2024)

@fmspjanus9 жыл бұрын
+ralorox Isnt the hard part actually finding the people that have the same amount of motivation, similar goals as you. Are not arrogant, are willing to work through problems together to achieve better and better product? I don't know man.... For me finding the right people for the right place so those people actually enjoy what they are doing... This is like almost impossible to do thats why we have only v. few seriously good bands that stay with each other long enough to develop not only as a Single musician but as a band itself. That's my experience anyway, there is millions of insanely talented artists/composers but only few of them have tenacity to reach what they want... So finding a keyboardist or vocalist of any level is not actually a problem.

It was the song Flourish that did me in and got me hooked. the Intrinsic album is as close to the roots of the band that you can get without sacrificing the new sound that fits so well. Holomovement was a masterclass in musicianship, but the Language album blends all of it into this beautiful perfect (either you love it or you don't) amalgamation of thought and true feeling. this band got me through the loss of my mother, Aunt, and best friend all in the same month...... thank god for The Contortionist

These are the sounds of what peaking on psychedelics is like.. when you are in a world of euphoric energy pulsating through the universe, realizing that the pulsation also comes out through you and everything surrounding us. Best part of The Contortionist is that you don’t even need drugs to enjoy them. But if anyone is ever curious on what psychedelics might be like, this is definitely how it feels. Obviously, there are intense parts. Which might be able to be compared to Intuition:Conspire on the album.. complete nonsense with an intensifying measure of something tugging hard trying to wake us the fuck up, but if we aren’t willing to answer the door, then that echoing knock might just throw us through a loop. Rediscover what it’s like to be completely ALIVE and feel the energy of beauty, destruction and recreate a world of bliss through your perception. 🤘🏻 Fucking love The Contortionist. They’ve been a primary listening adventure for me ever since Exoplanet came into existence and they have yet to disappoint. Progression in the best way possible. 💜 We ARE the Language 🙌🏻
