Thanks for the review video. Any issues of overheating because the sun will always hit the dashboard so the screen will be at direct sunlight for a long time during day driving

The units I tested were used during summer and on long trips and had no issues but I swapped them out to test others couldn’t say for sure what long term usage would be like.

hey, i have the unit but the dashcam video only records video, no audio... mine stays connected to android auto and playing music from yt music while i'm driving btw

That’s probably why, it probably disables the mic whilst you’re streaming audio like it does for a phone call for example.

@@MATechKZbin i also noticed the mic doesnt work for google voice commands on android auto, or maybe my mic is broken on my unit, i have no clue :(

Thank you for the review! I got one of these yet cannot get my iPhone 13 Pro with updated firmware to connect via Airplay for screen mirroring (tried airplane mode on/off and BT off/on) and can connect to the device via WiFi but does not when selecting the screen to mirror. Any ideas?

Delete it from your connected devices and when you connect to it make sure you’re not close to a WiFi connection (like your home WiFi) I find this usually works better. Also connect the AirPlay before you connect CarPlay.

Took a little fiddling yet that did work - did it away from the home WiFi also & seems to need Bluetooth off also. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not sure if will reconnect now after setup CarPlay again. Will have to test that again later. Thanks again!

Once you’ve got it working then all you do is turn off Bluetooth when you want to use airplay and turn it back on when you want to use carplay.

From what I remember it does affect it but not as much as my phone for example as you’re not using as closely. It’s the same with most head units unfortunately.

That’s for my local mosque but the company that makes that app can make them for any mosque that contacts them. It’s made for iOS and Android and when I go into my mosque they have a big screen with the countdown times using the same app. apps.apple.com/gb/app/masjid-assalaam-derby/id6447790410
