Great unit and review - I bought 3 and installed into 05 Hilux, 08 Forester and 05 Liberty. It’s fast boot up 10-15secs into CarPlay, wireless Carplay and Android Auto, Volume knob, front and rear usbs, Fast radio tuner and very good sound quality and snappy performance with no bloat ware. Free reverse camera too, a cheap, easy and reliable way to bring old cars up to date.

Audio quality is great - certainly no complaints. Only running aftermarket front & rear speakers; no amplifier and no subwoofer.

Hi, thanks for the video. I have installed the headunit yesterday, but I cant seem to adjust the reverse camera lines. Did u find a way to adjust the lines?

Mate is it compatible with Corolla 2000/2001 double din?, I mean Toyota corolla ascent ae112 1.8L which has sold in AU market with rounded head light.

And do I need this extra plug? Very new in car world, just bought a used Corolla 3 days ago.

Well if it's a standard double din it should fit. Remove the old head unit and have a look at the main connector, 99% sure you'll want to buy the toyota-to-ISO plug that will suit.

i do have this eonon xx3 model. Can this x3 use external DSP to make sound more crisp?

ah... honest answer, I don't know! Maybe it's my old ears but the SQ it puts out is certainly acceptable to me! You can definitely add aftermarket amplifiers which would add a lot of volume.

What does the stock music player look like? Is it better to suited to driving then the android units one? Does play from the next folder automatically with music from usb?

To be honest... I've yet to even use the music player! Because wireless android auto connects automatically and seamlessly, I just use spotify (to stream) or tunein (for digital radio) from android auto, the interface is better than any stock/built in media interface. I've had a lot of android units, and even with new launchers I never found one that I liked. However since the stock linux interface is really streamlined and simple, the media player would follow the same style.

Thank you for the review regardless. Please do a walk through video to maybe of the features thinking of buying this one also The main reason I wanted android one was because it wireless seems to be go hard on your battery and wired only barely charges it but maintains it so what's the point if I i have to charge to use wireless android auto better off getting something that can run android independently however android doesn't seem to suit driving quite well in my opinion.
