Eonon have been around for a long time. They mainly used to have android headunits which were pricey but it is nice to see more affordable ones. I will consider this if i need a headunit in future

Wonder if radio reception worked if it had an amplified antenna. Would like to see gps in this unit for navigation. My old Eonon allowed me to download Igo maps with all the updates etc.

Hello, could you kindly confirm if the ISO 2 Quadlock adapter sufficed for proper functionality? I came across a KZbin video where another individual installed it on a 2003 Touareg and had to route a cable from the fuse box, presumably to prevent it from resetting with each engine shutdown. Could you verify if yours is functioning correctly? Additionally, could you please provide a link to the adapter? Thank you.

its a nice radio with good QLED screen and snappy. it wont slow down as it ages as you dont install apps directly on the radio. modern cars with build in carplay uses the same tech. so as aftermarket carplay radio. but this one is so much cheaper with good quality. all the features a modern radio has and non of the bloats. i got 2 eonon x3 during their chirstmas sale at £62 each.

The Bluetooth sound on mine are extremely bad never had something that bad. And also the google maps goes absolute crazy to a point that I cant use use. Screen flinches to different locations up and down while your driving. Pretty shit unit in total.

I'm sorry that yours has done that. I've not had any problems with mine and it's still working well. The only issue I've found long term is that the radio reception is a bit patchy sometimes. Perhaps it's worth trying to contact Eonon. They might be able to provide you with a new firmware to flash or a replacement unit.
