Love the short hair. You are beautiful. This is my favorite rendition of this song. His interpretation truly brings out the true meaning of the lyrics. Simon & Garfunkel sang to alarm us, he sang to give us a final warning. You should watch their music video version. It is as beautiful as it is haunting.

David Draiman.....one of THE best male vocalists out there. Can go from warm baritone to angelic tenor, to clear as crystal to grit/rasp and back on a dime! ....powerful and soulful voice! I am 76 and remember when Simon & Garfunkel sang it in 1964 and many others since. It was not until I heard Disturbed that I understood the song. Watch the studio version for the video that goes with it. If you have not checked out "Hold on to Memories", I think you would like that one also.

The orchestration, let alone the vocal was supreme; and I never noticed until another reviewer said - each part of the orchestra comes in when they're lit up! David Draiman, the vocalist was a bit under the weather when he performed this live on Conan and was marvelous. Another tidbit of info here. David is classically trained and at one time trained to be a cantor and a rabbi.

The thing that amazed me the most about this performance was that he did it while he had the flu was running a high temperature and had to be seated because he didn't have the strength to stand for the whole performance, if he can put on a performance like this when he's ill you know he's a special type of performer

Hey, you posted this on my birthday! And I love your hair! I strongly recommend checking out more Disturbed! Even your dog realized how good a singer David is and settled in to listen!
