Thanks for making the series, great to see full break down of the sorts of problems and trials that come up with this sort of project. I'll be looking to probably get a K100rs myself in a year or so, and doing my own project. So learning as much as possible is always welcome.

Looking good. Makes me want to get on of these bikes and turn it into a go kart. If you’re ever working on exhaust studs again you may want to pick up a propane plumbing torch. A little heat and a gentle tap with a hammer usually frees up stubborn fasteners. Or if your not a fan of the fire approach look into getting kroil penetrating oil, or you could mix your own up using automatic transmission oil and acetone in a 50-50 mix in a spray bottle. Either way good luck with the project.

Badass. I know you're outside and you can't leave it but I like to lay a moving blanket down like a place mat, keeping everything off the ground and it makes clean up easier. That and a dropped screw or socket doesn't bounce and roll away as easy.
@Theillestrator10505 жыл бұрын
I could do that, my logic against laying down anything that isn't disposable like cardboard is that it'll get gross and mildew pretty quick cause the ground is wet
