I was incorrect about Dr John Campbell’s qualifications, apologies! He is a Nurse Educator with a PHD not a Dr. Here is a career summary quote; “Campbell worked as a nursing educator at the University of Cumbria, and has experience as an emergency department nurse.[9] He has also tutored healthcare workers in Cambodia and India.[9] He is the author of the nursing-related bioscience textbooks Campbell's Physiology Notes and Campbell's Pathophysiology Notes. A review in Emergency Nurse magazine said that the latter textbook contained "excellent [and] inexpensive notes on the causes, pathophysiological changes, and clinical features seen in disease processes".[10] In 2008, he established a KZbin channel to provide educational lectures on topics in health science and nursing.[11]” I didn’t intend to mislead ❤

Thanks Shauna! This is a helpful summary. I couldn't find out when exactly he retired from nurse education - whether it was in 2008 when he started doing KZbin, or or later - but I suppose that detail isn't too important. Either way, I do wish he was clearer with his audience and potential viewers. Countless thumbnails have suggested to me that he is a medical doctor providing analysis regarding the impact of viruses & vaccines on the human body, rather than a retired nursing educator giving their best interpretations within the limitations of their training in nursing and educating nurses...which I now understand was decades ago in Dr. Campbell, PhD's case, and I can't find signs he has done any continuing education to keep up with the many advancements in medical sciences since then...hm. I do still appreciate your highlighting the fact that there are indeed many other alternative voices out there. 🙂

That is misleading that his KZbin channel says "Dr. John Campbell". He isn't a medical doctor. What kind of a doctor is he?

Unfortunately, I (with a PhD in biochemistry, several years' experience in toxicological and pharmaceutical research, and similar experience as a medical writer) have noted a number of occasions on which Dr Campbell has misinterpreted published data and drawn the wrong conclusions. I am not alone in this criticism, with several statisticians and other experts in data analysis also stating their unhappiness with Dr Campbell's reading of published information.

I think Kevin and anyone else who is associated with the 'acting' profession have clearly witnessed the poor PR for a 'no talent actress with prince in tow, show' on that Charity stage. Yes, she is sooo professional that she couldn't even handle a simple presentation of little awards smoothly and gracefully! Awkwardly....definitely!! Unfortunately thanks to an overbearing PR firm, WME/Ari, another Charity has become associated with Meghan, making any memories of their presentation of awards a laughing stock! I don't think this Charity was known Nationally but now it is for All the wrong reasons and No one else to blame than WME/Ari + H&M!!

Her grabbing the mic and getting rejected was the best thing I’ve seen for ages, she just pranced on and made out it didn’t hurt her in the slightest and went straight over to the award, picked it up, almost dropped it, she fumbled and fidgeted so much, it was hilarious, then Haz motioned the guy in the red shirt to hand the mic to her and he just laughed and folded his arms, good on him, haz went back and then was manhandled and pushed towards Kevin to give him the award, it’s just all too comical, I love it!!

Dr John Campbell is a Doctor of Nursing who taught students and has written technical books that you can download for free on his channel, an amazing caring man. I’ve been watching him from the beginning of the pandemic and got more honest info from him than doctors or government. He also did an interview with Russell at one time but he talks with many highly regarded specialist/doctors/researchers etc and gets current data and analysis it for us. He has been and still is a blessing because you know you are getting true and honest information you can trust him.

I agree that live chats are usually boring. It annoys me when much of the presenter's time is just staring at the screen, mentioning the names of all who are tuning in and, as you said, worrying about the technicalities. No matter how much I enjoy the presenter, I usually turn it off! I loved this one, from home, and a bit of gossip😊. So glad to have discovered your channel!💓

Hi Shauna, I like this additional "set" for informal chats. Feel free to do these from other locations as well. Regarding the whole Kevin Costner scenario, I do believe he is a serious person. I'm fortunate to live in an area that has a music hall/night club that only has a couple hundred seats. This venue hosts many celebrity performers who aren't know for being musicians. To name a few that I've seen: Kevin Bacon performing as The Bacon Brothers, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Costner with their bands. Of those, Kevin was the most serious. There is also a great documentary about what Kevin Costner went through to get Dances With Wolves made. He is a serious man. Sorry for the ramble, so I can see how Kevin Costner wouldn't want anything to do with H&M. Also, I got the impression that he might have known and liked Meghan's father. I don't know if anyone has looked into that.

Dances With Wolves is one of my favourite films too. My daughter walked up the aisle to the theme music,played by the bagpipes of the Royal Scotts Dragoon Guards. It was so beautiful....she looked gorgeous and so did all the men in kilts, real Scottish wedding.😂

As soon as I saw Dr. John Campbell's name I clicked to watch. I love Dr. Campbell's videos! So full of true information presented in a very calm and calming manner. I wouldn't compare him to Russell B that much though. Brand is more of a sensationalist who uses current events to promote himself. Campbell is just trying to inform his audience on what is actually going on regarding our health and he brings all the receipts.

Thank you for this lighthearted video, presented as a cozy chat but still providing information. John Campbell, PhD in nursing, an experienced nurse and a professor, has also been censored (Facebook, if I remember correctly) and one of his videos was demonetized by KZbin. If you look at his Wikipedia page, there is a bit (a warning that to me reads as a smear on his reputation) that he has been associated with putting out misinformation in more recent times. Dr. Campbell was very much in support of the early measures, recommendations and the promised effectiveness of the vaccine. Once he started studying and speaking with fellow medical personnel about their own research and clinical experiences into various medicines and procedures to treat covid infected patients, he and the reputable doctors with whom he was exchanging information became closely monitored and their scientific exchanges were questioned, some censored. If I remember correctly, one questioned and demonetized video was with Dr. Campbell and two doctors. One doctor was from and working in India and the other from and working in South Africa. The latter was a hospital doctor as well as the head of a medical research group. They seemed to know each other personally, as former working colleagues. They were doing on social media what medical doctors have been doing all along in medical conventions and continue to do through medical publications and critique of the research. According to him, Dr. Campbell began using Facebook at the behest of some of his graduating nursing students who would be working elsewhere, some returning to their own countries, and wished to remain in touch through talks and conferences online. The doctors I previously mentioned were among the various informed and practicing professionals participating in these contemporary ways of exchanging and questioning data.

I have a deep respect for Dr. John Campbell. Although he is not a MD, he has a doctorate in his field, which is nurse practitioner. He has a lot of practical experience and had become an educator of nurses before his retirement.

I really liked and respected Dr. John Campbell during the pandemic when he got all this data and gave his analysis in layman’s terms and he was a lot of the reason that I felt OK about the covid shots. Well, he has done a reversal of his position and is giving data on that. So I no longer watch nor have faith in him. We all know, but his two positions showed statistics are often meaningless. For example, statistics can say 9 out of 10 women love this dishwashing soap, but that particular 9 and 10 were taken out of a survey of 100 women who either did, did not or didn’t care about the dishwashing liquid. So right now I’m an ostrich with my head in the sand.

Compared to the online picture of the jacket, the collar should not have been up, so she could have done without the Olive Oil bun. I actually watched the whole video several times and two things occurred to me: 1. She is incredibly out of her depth and obviously not part of the in crowd, and 2: These people are viewing her as either an annoying presence or using her as an entertainment. There’s a lot of funny looks and smirking going on. Harry finds the small talk easier, he’s trained for it.

I subscribe to Dr. Campbell and find his advice exceptional. I now take Vit D3 daily, which as I live in the UK has helped no end, use Listerine as a mouthwash after I've been in a crowded place... and I've never once had Covid...( which may be just a fluke) but it's served me well. Perhaps MM & Oprah have to wear heavier clothes because they've lost too much weight and haven't got enough fat on their bones to keep them warm. 😉😆

I think the bedtime chat idea is great. My concern is the difference in time zones, and knowing when to join in. You always have such cogent thoughts and opinions. I enjoy your channel for that reason, and your cheeky sense of humor.

Really enjoyed your gossipy chat. I have a lot of respect for Dr John Campbell and watch most of his videos. In terms of his career, he worked as a Nursing Educator at the University of Cumbria and also worked as an Emergency Department Nurse. He is a Dr due to his academic qualifications and gained a PhD at the university of Bolton. He recently interviewed Russell Brand.

I, too, watch Dr. John Campbell. One can trust his information. He always cites the source of his data, and I have often accessed those cites and read the entire brief, study, or abstract. Dr. Campbell presents the data accurately. I enjoyed the chat. Thank you.

I think she wears out of season clothes for two reasons…one the companies whose clothes she wears always work one season ahead…and her appearing in them gives a longer time for the companies to assess demand and get the goods in place…the second reason and this will apply to Oprah too…is that the slimming drug ozempic makes the takers feel cold…..
