I am coming back after having listened to Dr Mates interview. I have only read one of his books " the body says no".I am very interested in internalized trauma and for me the best book about it is " the body keeps the score" by Bessel van de Kolk.After Harry's diagnosis and therapy session online per pay I must say I lost any respect for Dr Mate. This interview didn't make me change my mind. I have a few questions. How many private sessions did Dr Mate have with Harry? Did he diagnose him through his book? Is he eligible to diagnose people? I am sorry but I wanted more seriousness from such a renown person.I think he was flattered being chosen by Harry to validate his trauma. The victim narrative about the British media having distorted his words sounds familiar too.Sorry not for me..

My favorite Michael Caine movie is Educating Rita. I'd always liked him as an actor, but I think I got a big crush on him while I watched that one. The first movie I ever watched him in was Alfie (I might be dating myself here a bit), and then I walked about singing What's It All About Alfie for awhile and drove my mom nuts.

Favorite Michael Caine movie - Deathtrap. It was a murder mystery, a drama, a comedy, it had it all. As for the Oscar slap, I think she absolutely provoked that. The way he originally laughed at the joke until she rolled her eyes and glared at him, you could practally see the thought bubble over his head. It said, "I need to do something right now or she's going to make my life a living hell once we are out of here". And Chris Rock's joke wasn't even that harsh. If that joke riled her up that much Ricky Gervaise at the Golden Globes could probably make her head explode. People need to lighten up.

My daughter had the chance to meet Michael Caine when she was 14 years old, she's 36 now. When she told me she was going to meet him she couldn't remember his name and just described him as "some old actor." One way or another we figured out that it was Michael Caine! And she met him and spoke to him too, I think something about the sandwiches they were eating! She still didn't recognize him but said he was nice! Today my daughter is an actress and appreciates Michael Caine in a way that she didn't back then! 😂

I've heard that Maté was well respected back in the day. These days if you look at his website he has some interesting views including that he believes that he can cure autoimmune diseases and ADHD as they are caused by intergenerational trauma (doesn't believe that genetic predisposition is a thing) and if you cure the trauma then you have cured the diseases/disorders. He is retired now (so shouldn't be diagnosing anything), my understanding is that when he was licenced he was a GP so again shouldn't be diagnosing the things (and not say that he based the diagnosis on reading Harry's book and watching The Crown).

Hi Shauna I love your bedtime gossips. When you said you nearly swallowed you teabag it reminded me of my Great grandson the other him and his little sister live with us. A few nights ago they were eating chocolate fudge cake and cream (which they love) for desert . I noticed he left a lot of his and I said wow how come you didn’t eat it? He started slapping his lips together like a wine taster and said “it had a slight after taste of teabags”. I was laughing and asked him if he had eaten many teabags. He said no but I just know they’d taste like that fudge cake . His sister gobbled hers up. He’s 7 (8 next month ) and she’s 6 and they make us laugh all the time

Jada, being a narcissist, has had Will in sustained devaluation for a very long time. She also uses the shelving dynamic, wherein she puts him on a shelf, so that she can take him off the shelf and use him when it suits her. She could not do that if they divorced, because he would move on and end up with another partner. It is so cruel what she has done to this man. Yes. Season 3 of Only Murder in the Buildings has already streamed in the US. It is one of my favorite shows of all time. I adore Steve Martin and Martin Short. I didn’t know much about Selena Gomez, but she’s fabulous. I think they co produce the show. I’ve heard that there will be a season 4 ❤

The Gabor interview with diary of CEO - I had to turn it off because he was quoting parts of Harry’s book as though it was true which I thought was ridiculous. He’s made his assessment only on the book not real life. I watched the older ones of the Crown but it got really stupid.

I love the Diary of a CEO and think Steve Bartlett is a very skilled interviewer (who btw accompanied Prince William recently on a number of official visits for the Homeward campaign and in NY - so watch this space). I have mixed feelings about Gabor Maté and think he still made too many references to the Monarch’s youngest son that are outside the ethical bounds of his profession as a GP. . He did comment that he’d received backlash from professionals but made no apology for diagnosing a highly suggestible person, live on air when as a GP, he is not qualified to diagnose him at all. I also didn’t like the occasional references he made about H to illustrate his points - again unprofessional. love your little man, I have had poodles for many yrs now, we lost our black boy last yr, and only have our girl, Alexi now, a chocolate colour...lol where is Aus are you? when you spoke about your book shop in the mountain, was that Blue Mountains, or are you in Queensland, and the book store in the Glass House Mountains, you have emntioned Australia Zoo too, I went there, 20 yrs ago, and got to see Steve Irwin, shortly before his passing over, a brilliant zoo, and I have been to a few!!! love your comments and humour, miss Australia so much...thanks for reminding me!!!

I enjoy these tea chats. 🙂 as for Harry and his Wife -- I am sick of them - self-absorbed entitled middle-aged teens! Yet, I also can't turn away - I want to see them crash - not nice - but I do believe they deserve being taken down a notch! Her in particular - she is the epitome of a narcissist and is NOT someone who should be 'influencing' anyone (IMO). *I've been thinking about their PR - agent guy ...Ari Emanuel - who is a owner or manager of the Wrestling world (WWE). IF he wants a re-set on MM. He should setup a wrestling match between her and Jada Pinkett Smith! THAT would get a lot of ATTENTION for the two most selfish woman currently in the headlines!!
