Can we talk about how Oakland investors were told to never talk about it? We’re not even allowed to acknowledge what Oakland was prepared to do to fight for its team. Critics continuously overlook egregious poor ownership by surfacing stigma for the city of oakland. Lastly, thank you Bryan for stating out loud. This was never parallel paths. They chose vegas in 19’ and pander to a fanbase they’ve never known while waging war on their own. How does mlb allow this smdh

I paid $100 for a seat in 123 with cobwebs and rusted bolt protruding from the armrest, total liability. Makes no sense why they wouldn’t sell those seats and make even more money, sounds like they can get the staff. The food, parking and everything else is already going to be a shitshow- we already know this from the Giants and Dodgers games. The Mt Davis crowd isn’t going to change that.

There was a similar event for the Sharks where the org was worried that fans might toss the particular giveaway onto the ice so they handed them out at the end of the game. It wasn't a disaster but it certainly took way longer and some fans were getting tilted over the wait. Now, compound that with it being the last ever game and 3x the amount of people. You're right... it will be a complete shit show.

You loved this stadium. You loved this team. But you bullied the management. That was the mistake. You made it easy for the A's, the City, and the MLB owners to do what they did -- wave bye bye out of Oakland as fast as possible.
