As I have come to expect from you, your videos are next level in both content and production. I haven't seen another cockpit builder with videos that even come close to yours with regards to the logic of the steps involved, the coding, the troubleshooting therein, the budget / lack of equipment options, presentation or articulation. The attention to detail that results in the fantastic quality of your end products is well reflected in these videos. Don't ever think that the time and effort involved in making this series is not fully appreciated. I, for one, am always hanging on the release of the next one. Thanks.

on spot as usual. that's totally on my to-do list as well. currently online dimming by reducing current and the neopixels do no dimming at all. I'm going to forward the brightness to my MFD too so it can adjust as well 😄

have to say it again the quality of your videos are absolutely top tier! got a question for you: I've seen a free to use controller software called rr_configurator which allows you to daisy chain arduinos together using "interrupts" or "I2C communications". all the daisy chained controllers show as a single device in windows. they only use 2 wires for communication, plus +5v and gnd. so 4 wires total. My question is if it would be possible to do similar here? so we can have separate small inexpensive arduino minis under each panel. then having them plugged to a central, master ardunio DCS BIOS, via 4 core cable. (a bit like using them as shift registers but more flexibility) the advantage being it would only need 4 wires between the master arduino and each panel, allowing for standard 4 pin plugs, easy disconnects etc.

Depends on how you want to use it either for DCS with DCS Bios, or you’d need to make them individual digital inputs and use it with conventional coding and make it a HID controller

Nice video. How do you design your backlight? I think i saw it in your video that you backlight is on the second layer? I've just been thinking a lot about the subject of backlighting, how to do this, but no solution that I've thought of and tried makes me happy. so...how do you do that? Thank you :)
@aHornetsNest
@aHornetsNest Ай бұрын
Hey there, yeah I sit a trench/tunnel into my second layer, and then feed the 3mm led strip into that If you go and watch some of the shorts that have to do with backlighting, it kind of shows how I assemble it I like my solution, it’s clean and effective, tiny bit complicated at times to design - but worth the effort

Greetings! I'm trying to understand Arduino, DCS BIOS... I'm interested in this point regarding, in my case, the light indication. Everything is fine during the game. everything works, but at the end of the work, the indication continues to light until you press Reset. Is it possible to somehow programmatically, by code, make such a procedure automatic after exiting DCS, or maybe upon completion of data entry/exchange into the DCS BIOS?
