FYI: I use respirators off camera when I don’t need to be talking on camera 😃 and the garage is an open walled carport 🫡… thank you for your health concerns ❤

I built an F-16 from scratch out of Burch plywood many years ago. I sold it to a friend and then bought a pre-built wooden cockpit. That one worked great for a while. Then I got the opportunity to buy an actually familiarization trainer tub from Wright Patterson AFB. It cost quite a bit and it can only fit in my garage, but it was well worth it. Keep up the good work.

There are a lot of similar parts between the second generation Harrier and the Hornet in the cockpit. Of course I am building the better of the two jets. I would like to thank all those at Open Hornet for their help with some of my Harrier parts!

I am in equal measure both delighted for you and seething with envy. Just so I can try to manage my anticipation for each successive episode in this series, is it every second Tuesday that you plan to put out an episode or simply any Tuesday as and when you have content ready? (I checked KZbin about 27 times last Tuesday to see if you had uploaded anything and went to bed cursing the 168 hours that I had to wait until today 😅).

Great video!! I'm excited to see what your simulator looks like when finished!! However, a little health tip... When painting or using a spray gun, always use a dust mask and old clothing!!! Especially if you spray in the apartment when the room temperatures are high!! What you are doing is very harmful to your health!!

Nice one! I like the Wagner unit, it’s actually quite affordable! Some tips for when you’re doing this for real: wear PPE. I know you mentioned it, but even outside you still breath in particles, and you can get covered with the stuff. Can’t wait to see the end result! How long is the drying time for the paint?
@aHornetsNest

Awesome! Just out of curiosity, how much were you getting quoted? Based out of NSW and dreading the CNC cost. Not necessarily after the side wall pieces but curious.
@aHornetsNest
@aHornetsNest 4 ай бұрын
Hey mate, I was very fortunate and my friend cut it for me :) The company’s on the Gold Coast that quoted said around $2500 for side consoles, and similar for the centre hub and UIP/LIP But I also think that’s got a bit of Christmas tax added to it, and they didn’t want to do the job because of work load So I’d check around and keep me updated how you go :)
