I only use Queen or King this or that All other royal distinctions mean nothing to me as an American. I never cared and never will. But that as a free citizen of the U S A. If I was a public figure I would use the titles.

I love old radio dramas. One night, I was driving home from work and I was listening to one with Cary Grant. He and his wife had taken what they thought was a shortcut and ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere...while an escaped murderer was on the loose! By the time I got home, my heart was pounding and the fog was thick and I was so scared, I had to muster the courage to open the car door to get inside the house. 😳 The radio dramas are great because you dont have the sense of sight...and your imagination starts taking over.

Ha ha I’m the same, I listen to dramas while sorting the horses out in winter, one was a thriller and scared the hell out of me I legged it out of the barn because I saw a couple of eyes in the dark 😂Shetland pony who thought I was there to feed her.

The Wales Family are an example of such an amazing family. The children are a reflection of their parents and are simply fabulous. Princess Catherine is a wonderful mother and wife that is what makes her a perfect example of how we could all hope to lead our family ❤

For goodness sake! We all make vocabulary mistakes. My mother in law used to say she was ‘ravishing’ instead of ‘Ravenous’. That has gone down in the family history. Wonderful and no one ever mentioned it to her. Bless her.

Well my dear, when I was littke about 5 or 6 in the middle 50s, my mum listened to a radio drama called Helen Trent. It was British on CBC radio in Canada. My mum listened to it every day while preparing dinner. She loved it, on Sunday I woukd listen to the Lone Ranger and Superman. Its an amazing thing to do.

I think Shauna and River are my two most favourite you tubers. Their content is interesting and informative and most importantly they can both reduce me to tears of laughter and we all need to laugh don’t we. Sometimes that’s the most valuable thing you can give to others, laughter, it lightens all our hearts and in these days don’t we all need a bit more of that.

Never thought I’d be able too hear people around the world and their opinions when I was ten but it’s been 65 years so it’s sometimes very nice to have the internet! There are great people out there. Exactly, our inner Mrs. Malaprop surfaces once in a while or with hilarious regularity, becoming part of family lore. So, carry on young lady and we can all enjoy a smile, a laugh or even an eye roll together. Re a preferred schedule for these chats, whatever works for you. You are the creator, you dictate the pace. I agree with w&k. The princes trust was very successful because it was a passion. Wills doesn't have 50 years like Charles to make a difference, so it's wonderful he's chosen something so significant and I hope it's great success. Catherine can continue some of her work even as Queen.

As a former English major I get embarrassed but just keep trying to rise above it. I definitely enjoy your late night gossips. Thank you for that. Your book reviews are always wonderful. Your podcast has a classy feel . You have a fabulous laugh and such a lot of positivity. Lot more I could say but want to not inundate you with too much praise you might refuse to believe or accept. I love the Christmas card. The kids are beautiful and seemed to mature overnight. American here, and you're right. Meghan was born & raised in the states. She never became a citizen of the UK. And while Harry is a citizen of the UK and not the US, he's lived here for almost 4 years on a visa he shouldn't have gotten because of his drug use, and he has no intention of moving back to the UK. He doesn't even have a home in the UK to stay at anymore. They aren't royalty. I can't even grasp why Harry hasn't been removed from the Councilor of State position, given how much he and his wife hate the monarchy and the country.

I’m American and if I ever ran into Sparry & his wife, I would say “Hello D-lister & Handbag. To think that using their titles by Americans is complete bonkers. It just doesn’t happen with regular folks, maybe an interviewer would use the titles. I will watch your videos while your gone on vaca. I just so thrilled I randomly found your channel. I listen to the BBC radio plays every day while I’m working on our farm. Any drudgery flies by when I can listen and work at the same time! When I tune into KZbin on my phone it goes straight to the radio plays now!

I will happily watch your older videos during your much deserved time off. I thought you were the book review person I used to periodically watch! As far as vocabulary, or other, mistakes, all KZbinrs make communication mistakes - more than you. I find your communication skills impeccable, engaging, seamless and very astute. I understand, how you feel “paranoid “ of making mistakes. I feel the same way when I write comments and make mistakes (grammar, spelling etc.) Perhaps, we can make it our New Year’s resolution to remind ourselves that no one speaks or writes perfectly, so when we make a mistake in the future, let’s promise not to be so hard on ourselves! I just love your Snippets- very very cleverly written! Enjoy your book reviews as well- everyone occasionally mangles a word or phrase. Oftentimes this can be a source of amusement and family history. My mother often twisted “under the bridge” with “over the dam”, into “over the bridge” and “under the dam”. She’s gone now but my family recalls her saying that and we smile bc we love her.

Shauna, whilst I heard the high dungeon "error", it was hardly distracting. We all get tongue twisted. P*ss on those who tried to take you to task. I will go through your past videos, as requested. As I'm later to discovering you, so I'll have to catch up. Happy to help! Didn't like the Wales' Christmas card, but it was still better than other person's attempt at black and white. As for what HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales, wore for the Carol service: THAT'S how you wear white. Of course, she has inate good taste and grace. She pulls off "looks" others could never achieve. The children look wonderful and each presents a lovely personality. Well raised children from all appearances. All round, the working Royals are an excellent example of living a decent, giving life.
