20’s were dumb. 30’s we’re learning. 40’s, we got that ish. In that order. Potential ain’t nothing. Be fact based. You need to see it and touch it. Only!!!

Listening to this advice will save you so much time and energy on the wrong person. Thanks for this Armon bc we’ve been fooled to be so compassionate that it leads us to our demise.

Very true. Men be tricking women into the potential relationships. Try dating the nerdy guys who actually like/love you and want to give you the world. Yea they act a little different but acting all fun everyday gets old after 25 years old

This is true for friendships and jobs too. If it's not an optimal situation on the front end, It's unlikely the situation will improve.

Then you find yourself losing yourself to focus on their dreams, building them up, finding opportunities for them while they gradually shift your focus from your own goals! Now they want to attach themselves to your business and your success! I’m over it! Come with your own and you better not need me to be poppin like I don’t need you!!! If we end up working together I better benefit like you benefit! It ain’t worth it!

Yup that used to be when I didn’t really know my worth. I dated for potential and most times they never changed smh 🤦🏾♀️
@CJSails3 ай бұрын
Ooooh, Great Topic, Armon! I'm going to have to disagree, though. People should date based on potential-however, many date based on likes. A person will have potential regardless, but are you the muse they need to bring it out? If people dated based on potential, half the relationships we've entered would not have been. Most people see potential as good things, but it's also the "Red Flags."Dating based on like masks the potential in a relationship. We might have to be more transparent about whether we are dating based on likes. Just cause you like Tyrone or Kelly's bedroom game does not mean you should be with them. You are in like with them.

Exactly. People say potential as an explanation to others but deep down they know they can’t make a person into something they’re not.
