The Summit carb is actually half Holley and half Autolite. Some Holley parts interchange. I built the regular AMT '70 Super Bee in the mid '90s, painted it Plum Crazy with black and white interior and the 440.
@carl5536 Жыл бұрын
That's my car and I want it back lol..That's my favorite and my dream car cause I remember watching a Super Bee rule the Kanawha Valley in Wva in the 70s. I'm pretty sure that it was a 440 4speed car but it ruled. It was gray paint from factory with black decals and badges. I used to go hitch hiking just so I could ride in the car although moma always told me to never get in that car but I did anyway and it'd pin ya in the seat as long as the throttle was to the floor going through the gears and even at 50mph when he mashed it to floor, you ain't going to move around that's 4sure. I remember the odometer said 160 and I'm 💯 percent sure that it would've easily done 160 and then some cause just playing around 137 wasn't a hard thing for the car to do and ain't nutn like a Mopar when it comes to raw gaspump horsepower

Time for a tune up, Accel Super Coil and good wires. Also, make sure to use the Accel rotor regardless of the cap you use. The tip is much longer and reduces the power lost when jumping the gap in the cap.

I had a chance to get a 70' convertible, it was forest green, I worked at sambos back in oh 78-82 whatever, it sat down at ballard wrecking right under the bridge off 15th ave, it was there for about a year, I asked he wanted like $800 for it, ran, 440, top worked, I had a 442 at the time but wanted that car bad, I decided i would spend my income tax getting it, when I went to get it, GONE! I loved that car more than my 442 w30, and that was a nice car.. but that coronet looked so bad arse, 440 4 spd, console, convertible, it had those ducts like the shelby mustangs had.. man, R/T badged
