You should have stopped for ice cream! My wife and I made a point to go to ile st. Louis for very good ice cream every day we were in Paris. To bad you didn’t go into Norte Dame and show the inside before the fire. Such a big loss. Another good video, well done.

Dear French Frye: I will be going to Paris the end of May, taking Metro from Gare du Nord to Chatelet. I see that there are many exits from Chatelet to above ground. My hotel is on Rue de Rivoli; can you suggest which exit I should take when leafing the Chatelet Metro stop to diminish my chances of getting lost? Thank you.

Yep I’ve got your back: The exits of the Châtelet-Les Halles station are numbered and marked by blue “Sortie” signs. If you use any exit numbered 11 through 14 you’ll come out on Rue de Rivoli. 👍🏻
