I just bought an Aventure 2. Like the maintenance and repair type video. I live in a mountainous area in New Mexico and the hills are no problem for this bike.

Thanks for the tutorial. I found it especially helpful because my e-bike has the same Zoom hydraulic brakes. Earlier I had considered ordering some replacement pads from Amazon to have ready for when needed. On Amazon I was struggling to find which was the correct ones to order. I resigned myself that I'd probably need to remove the existing ones (still original & working fine) to see what I'd need to order. So far I had resisted because I really didn't know how challenging a job it would be. (In such situations I procrastinate even more than usual). Thanks to the video I now know what to order (easy) and know the replacement job is easy-peasy. I like easy! Thanks!

Thanks! Glad I can help. Semi metallic does have a bit of a better bite but try out different ones to see what you like. Also, bleeding makes all the difference if there is air in the line. Happy thanksgiving!

It seems as though recentering the brakes and adjusting the inner non-piston side of these single-piston brakes needs to be part of replacing the pads.

link to adjust rear brake cable? Only 200 miles on bike and rear brake are not griping enough.

Thanks for this video, I only have about 600 miles miles on my step through Adventure, but I live in hilly area and by brakes are getting thin. Looks like taking the front wheel off isn't necessary or am I missing something?

What type of seat do you have on the bike?

It's a Suntour SR SP12 Suspension Seat Post, 27.2mm with Qfauto Road Bike Seat Post Sleeve Adapter, 27.2 mm to 30.4mm. Got on Amazon for about $80 plus sleeve at $10. Great investment!!
