in regards to the wireless translating earbuds, i had a pixel 4, and it came with music detection which worked automatically. One time I had the phone without wifi or a SIM card, it could still register the name of the song and artist and some of the songs were fairly new. I reckon it has a database that gets regularly updated with either lyrics, rhythm or both and thats how the earbuds work, which explains why they have to be paired to a phone to work
