I came across your channel today and find your content to be very interesting. You've coved a few things I've never heard about...like the storm lines behind the boat. I'll do my research. I subscribed and will be following along on your journey. Fair winds...btw, I love your boat and the way you fitted her out. 👍👍👍

Whatever you used to mount those solar panels must have been fabricated from drop forged titanium. I surely expected them to be launched into low earth orbit. Fair Winds. Always be safe. Phil

Glad you're lightening the boat. Wish you had a waterline painted so I could advise you from my armchair.🤗 A lighter boat won't pull so hard on the mooring lines.

I really secured them well and I would have removed them but the water tight connection would have to be cut. I couldn't get the water tight connectors that I wanted to use in time before I left.

I was surprised to see you left the solar panels out. More surprised that they were still there on your return and they hadn't moved. Must be something you know that I don't. Those photos of the other port were shocking. Good thing you left when you did or your journey may have ended there. Anyway, great job, great adventure, looking forward to the next one. Cheers for now... ;-} Just curious, you may have already said it but am wondering what it is that stuck under the Tiller?? A blue bag of some kind??

Excellent videos! I’m very curious about your typical day at sea? When do you sleep? I’ve read about two people on a voyage where someone was always on watch. What do you do when solo? What alerts you about collision danger or changing winds while you are sleeping?

All the islands are volcanic with "sleeping" volcanoes that can erupt at any time, then it is a seismic zone with an average of 320 records per day, as if that were not enough, on top there is the anticyclone of the Azores, which, makes storms from Greenland to the far south of America or Africa, such storms are normal in the Azores, and that was not even strong. All nine islands were hit, Flores was the most devastated, that picture does not do justice to the damage, because, it was much worse than we can see, today everything has been rebuilt, but they are already waiting for the next one, what is not normal was to have been at that time, it is usually in winter, storms can last weeks, 5, 6 or more! One thing is certain, the weather is uncertain, in the same 24 hours, it is possible to have the four seasons of the year, the sea can have waves 60 meters high.
