The prophecies in the Jewish bible about the "last messenger", for them it is the "Messiah", has nothing to do with muhammad or being born in Mecca. All of those prophecies points to Jesus.

What shows Muhammed didn’t go back to this monk to learn from him? The Christians accused that monk as a heretic.

There is no such report in even the pagan records, which would have not missed to report and exagerate such an oppurtunity.

@@Thaqlain But the Arabs constantly accused Muhammed of retelling stories of the former people, which means they believed he was retelling stories he heard from people and other sources, which could include stories from this monk. One thing that fascinates me about the Quran is the number of Apocryphal stories it contains. How does the word of God contains stories which the earlier Christians didn’t include to their canon because they believed they weren’t inspired?

Because Quran is connected to the earlier divine book. It sharing details not found previously is the proof that it is divine :)

@@Thaqlain Details that already existed but weren’t included in the Canon Bible? When I read that the young boy Jesus made a bird out of clay and made it come alive in the Quran, I was fascinated as I didn’t know where this story came from. However, when I started reading the Jewish and Christian Apocryphal books, I realised that this story was in a 2nd century Christian book called “The Infancy Gospel of Thomas” and there was a similar version written around the 5th or 6th century called,” The Syriac Arabic Infancy Gospel” which was popular in Arabia before the Quran was written.

The Prophet himself never read or wrote. Not did he had access with these books. So him quoting from their books is a proof that he is getting his knowledge from someone who knows what's in their books.

In the books of Seerah, Ibn Ishaq has narrated it. In books of history, Tabari has narrated it. Seems like both were not Sunnis :)
