Random act of kindness: I tipped a waitress $100 which was 3 or 4 times the bill. She actually tried to give the money back. We spoke. She was in her last semester of school for Physical Therapy... She cried and thanked me. All I asked is that one day she pays it foward.

I enjoyed the video as a white man but don't see what skin colour has to do with it. Is this video really a space created for black women or can we do a little better than that with the way we think? There is nothing ethnic/skin colour/racial about this video, its just good content by itself
@lorelange5 жыл бұрын
@@UhtredOfBamburgh no there is nothing ethnic/skin colour/racial about this video, however Isaaca expressed a feeling that many have, the lack of good representation with positive messages. you would understand if you had any idea how the nasty stereotypes are hurting black women especially, coming from everywhere and everyone. If you doubt it, ask honestly people around you how they view black women, how they are portraited in the media, ask around honestly, do this experiment if you're curious and you'll see.
@UhtredOfBamburgh5 жыл бұрын
@@lorelange I don't really understand your language about with "creating spaces," and such but I'm guessing you are basically saying it would be nice to see more female black role models for other black people. Sure that's great. I think insular tribal thinking is limiting though. It would be great if people knew their ideas and expressions could have value for any human and live with that mindset. I think stereotypes is best to be ignored in favour of self-motivation. I don't doubt that black people have certain problems in America and in the city I live in most people would not doubt it but i hate to say it but people don't always care because they've come from ethnicity (including some white ones) or economic situation who overcame hardships that no one even cared about let alone got media coverage like black Americans do get. I'm not complaining about that but what I am saying is that success in the individual comes from within and not from what you think people see you as. Being a black role model doesn't sound as great as an intelligent, thoughtful, successful role model who just happens to be black also. Its a sensitive topic and my ideas are often misunderstood with hostility. But you can only overcome stereotypes if you don't think of yourself as one. Your mind is more powerful than your skin, but only if you choose to be that way. No one was wrong here, I just wanted to add ideas going on a tangent about something i think is important for the world
@funfamilybuys87385 жыл бұрын
nyk31 what you’re saying is true, however it doesn’t negate the space requested for black people, women or whatever subcategory added. It’s natural to be a collective and an individual. She is both and can be both without diminishing the other. Sometimes we can become afraid of the nuances of our being and identities because of history, but all change takes time; also some things with previous negative connotations change to have positive outcomes through time and organic responses. I think it best to accept people’s views on themselves as a whole truth for the moment as long as they aren’t using it to diminish someone else. We have to be careful with trying to predict all outcomes through historical events/views; it doesn’t leave much room for growth, miracles or surprises. I hope you enjoy your nuanced spaces and others theirs. This doesn’t lesson our bond as humans. It gives us heightened experiences to share.🙏🏾

Love it, love it, love it!: "Been there, done that, on the way back." I can relate to an extent. My daily mantra is feeding my spirit with daily scriptures that I receive via email. I found myself off track yesterday, but i recognized what was happening and tried to reset my mind--and it worked. Today, I'm reading through my previously written affirmations and I know it'll give me the energy I need. Oh, my act of kindness yesterday was sharing useful information to someone I know it would benefit, especially in the long run. I love everything about this topic, Patrice. Thanks!

My daily mantra is Everything that is happening is happening for my greater good. And yes I do random act of kindness from time to time. Especially now during the crisis. I chose one person to help and bought a week worth of grocery as she couldnt really earn because we are in a total lockdown due to covid19. Then I also give our village's security guard snack pack to help them get through their work of making our village secure. Mind you, the universe works like magic because after a few days, my husband and I received an incentive from a brand we are endorsing then my brother unexpectedly sent us some money. That is 3 to 4x of what we spent in helping others. :) I am amazed by the law of giving and receiving. :)

You are awesome! You are very inspirational. Now in my 30’s I’ve learn to push aside all negative thoughts and fears to keep moving forward with my passion to create my own business one day. To juggle finances to build-up funds for a “sunny day” and be practical, I have a wonderful full-time career that allows me to travel. I’m still in that phase in my life where I’m trying find a perfect balance between following my passion and being full-time. This is my first full-time career ever, and I’m in my 30s. Anywho, i work directly with hotel staff while on-site during my travels. The way I do something kind for someone is to give hotel staff member (or other employees of venders in use) my time, and to engage in friendly conversation, or at the least a greeting or to say thank you for their services daily. I almost always see it put a smile on their face(s). I may be there for work, and the hotel staff may be doing their jobs, but I enjoy breaking out my own focus in that particular moment to acknowledge another human being. Idk, I’ve traveled for a few now and I can see where theirs separation in human interactions.

Top tips: Train your brain Negativity/ trauma can affect your thinking. Expect more. 1) Daily Mantra: Negative thoughts rushing thru brain. Magnetise and magnify what you verbalise. So keep repeating positive thoughts and expect more. 2) Experience what you want in the future: Visualise what you want and take steps to put yourself in those scenarios. Vision board. 3) Doing nice things for others: Bless others....come back to you.

Wow... I am so glad I 've tunned in... I have adopted that mindset... first of all because it is scriptural ...and consequently I have attracted amazing opportunities and people of purpose in my life ... I say to myself on daily basis: I am becoming "... And today someone just asked me if I am someone famous🤔😁😁😁😁😉😍😍 I live on random acts of kindness and have adopted this as a lifestyle... not to boast but because is my calling I am a Blessing "
@pablerprice57575 жыл бұрын
This mindset is not scriptural. We as Christ followers are to walk by faith. We have the ability through the power of our tongues, to speak those things that be not, as though they were (already existing). We with a Kingdom mindset think differently. We are to renew our minds with the word of God. And only then can we in the "Kindgom of God" have what we desire. He said that He would give us the desire of our heart (as long as those desires lineup with His word). Mantra is concerning the world's culture. It is not a part of the Kingdom principles. They are not to be matched.

I like your videos. I've always used the second and third tips. One of my favorite things to do is go to open houses for luxury homes. Next, I began house sitting in luxury homes in the U.S., then all over the world. I've been traveling for the past year full time and house sitting luxury homes. Now I'm ready to have one of my own. I do struggle a lot with my words, though. I need to work on that. And I seem to manifest experiences but rarely money. As a result, I'm having crazy, amazing experiences, but I sometimes struggle to have the money I need. I'm not sure why that is. I'm not charging stuff on credit or anything like that.
