We do our best to pronounce the names of places we visit correctly, but admittedly we don't always get it right, especially in unscripted, real-time recordings! Later in the video, I also pronounce Mokoto in a goofy way. We hope you enjoyed the video! ~Jessie

I know I'm years late. But your proniunation still said in a english style. Most would say Mang like tang the second is almost right. There is a sound that doesn't exist in English that's Ng its hard too write it out the sound,but when combined with A which has the same sound as A in the vowels A E I O U. Sounds like Nah which would be spelt Ngah. So in most Polynesian languages this sound is prominent. So the word is actually in 4 parts Ma nga re va. The trick is like learning Japanese hiragana. A E I O U are your base if you know how too sound these vowels like Hirigana you take the base vowel like A put a letter in front eg. M + A sound = Ma like Southern American say Mom when you suss that out it will help you with Polynesian words. Hawaiian is one language that's has no T no Ng sound so it's alil easier.
