So Orthodox Christians actually don’t celebrate Christmas until January 7th and New Years until January 14th so depending on when you saw the Christmas tree it may have not been as odd as it seemed. A lot of Russian Orthodox Christians don’t even put up their tree until after the new year .

What the...! 🌲Trees are not picked up by trash in DS area - some people will recycle them (pick up), but some people drive them to recycle drop off locations. Odd for sure - especially given it’s a month after Christmas!
