Nicely done video. Like most adventures you share, we never knew about the Turquoise Trail. We loved the history and the three towns. The museum(?) in Los Cerrilos looked super interesting. The RV park that you stayed at looked like it had a lot of neat stuff to look at as well. Thanks for sharing! Ram 👍🏻👍🏽

Thanks for showing off my home state. Merry Christmas! Home town hint: AVOID ALBUQUERQUE! "Come for the chile, stay because your car was stolen" is their motto.
@GrandAdventure3 жыл бұрын
😄 Yeah Thom, that's probably not the Chamber of Commerce's motto. You as a resident can correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that ABQ has long had its rough patches, but 2021 saw some extraordinary increases in crime.
@thomfisher11003 жыл бұрын
@@GrandAdventure I'm sure it isn't, but it is too true. I no longer live in ABQ. My daughter a former APD officer left for safer climes too. The homicide rate is one of the highest in the nation. It saddens me, but over the years things have just gotten worse. It has been headed downhill since the 60's and now sadly it is beginning to happen in Santa Fe, especially this past Summer. It's still pretty safe in most areas and once you are out of the cities things are much more pleasant, so I do not wish to scare people off! Again, great job on the video and thanks for the comment. You've only scratched the surface of what there is to see out there. You could spend a few years just in N. Mex doing shows and not cover all of it.

I'll bet he could have spent days looking at that collection. Glad to have you back our SLC area. We really enjoyed our stay in Santa Fe, but sadly it was just too short. We were in a hurry to get to Bandelier National Monument and explore that while we were there, saw our cousins who lived there eat the time, but then had to bug out after just a couple nights. Had no idea about the Turquoise Trail, but gives us all that more reason to go back!

We presently count our beloved chocolate lab Zoe as a family member, but we lost our rescued golden retriever a couple of summers ago. Mrs GA never truly got over losing Maggie, so I have to respect that and wait until she's ready. Personally I can't imagine life without a dog in it.
