You guys have been a real blessing to listen to along with my reading. Was baptized on Aug 17th and trying to learn all I can.

Awesome lesson. Love it. Just got thinking about the law of chastity, teen agers, middle aged, and extra marital affairs.

Even things that are not dangerous can be. I know someone that traded family and testimony for fishing. Fishing was his secret combination.

Your comments on prophets seeing through things reminds me of Sherri Dew's talk, "Prophets See Around Corners." I would highly recommend watching it in conjunction with this lesson. ❤

I believe Sheri Dew is the guest this week on the Follow Me podcast.

Cell phone addiction is to close to home, if you tried to convince me 25 years ago that I’d need a cell phone which would cost me $$$ a month I never would’ve signed up.

I really like your stuff. I wish that you would occasionally take live questions like do. For example, if someone had greatly offended my family years ago, how do I forget?

@@kevinbell6333 a solution for one person doesn't always work for everyone. I've found it to be a gradual process for some offenses while being able to forgive others quickly, even when the offender doesn't ask for it or even appear to feel badly. Rather than ask for more details, I'd like to suggest reading Anatomy of Peace by the Arbinger Institute. Aside from the Scriptures, it's one of the most powerful books I've ever read. It really helps me to have a different perspective not just relating to forgiving others, but how to not take offense in the first place. Above all, I must remember that often, I'm often the offender and I desperately need my Savior's forgiveness. I pray that you find your answers.

I can't help thinking of big Pharma.

Alcohol, tobacco, the food industry and big pharmaceutical companies are probably all tied together.

While I can see why you might say that because so much money is put into pharmaceuticals. While lots of money goes into this, amazing blessings also come from it. Every year more and more diseases that used to cause incredible pain and suffering are no longer an issue. I just heard today that there is now a medicine that cures cystic fibrosis. Very expensive right now, but in several years, it will be a generic and more affordable medication. Like the Internet, There are parts of big Pharma are not good, but there are parts that are a blessing from God.

Can someone please tell me what a “light word” is? You used it in your Helaman 1-6 video (and I have heard you use it before). I have tried to search it but to no avail. I assume it’s either exclusively LDS or Google can’t sell me anything… so it doesn’t try hard to find it.😂

What about the pharmaceutical and medical industry. Give money for the rest of your life as you get sicker and they get richer. And what happens when the seers don’t see through the secret combinations? I’m trying to understand it.

The bright and morning star, Jesus; the morning star, God The Father and the evening star, God the Witness aka The Holy Ghost, are representative of the father, the Redeemer and God the witness. the Father is called the morning Star, God The Reddemer is called the bright and morning star because he comes in the noon of the telestisl history of the Earth or the meridian of time. The evening star is a representative of God the witness aka the holy Ghost who comes at the end of the history of this telestial Earth before the millennium begins.
