What made me renew prior to the pandemic was the offer was two years membership in the Stubs Premier. It was around the end of 2019 or before the pandemic lockdown. Evidently at that time AMC was in financial trouble which the pandemic actually helped pull them out of while people locked up in their home resorted to online movie subscriptions which AMC took advantage of, ie online streaming. Unfortunely for me even with the two years for one, I lost since I could not utilize my membership at the box office since the theatre was closed. I am in a struggle now with representatives of AMC cause they are not realizing the offers made at that time they only have access to the amount I paid during renewals. And don't seem to be able to recall the specials they were running prior to the pandemic during their financial strife.

Hi u think its still worth it during pandemic whos to say they wont shut down the movie theatre again? And if u go once a month or every other month on average maybe twice a month depending whats out which membership would be worth it your thoughts are appreciated 🙏

I think it’s worth it to keep the movie theaters running. Good question! If you go just once a month hit up the Tuesday 5 dollar day. If you go a few times a month you can get the stubs membership (it’s free but builds points to get money) or Alist which isn’t that much. If you go twice a month and a ticket is 10 dollars then you get your money worth for Alist.

What happens if you don’t like two movie you like. How about if you go one movie a week. Is it free ? If you know what I mean ?

Good question! It depends which membership you get. If you see two movies and don’t like them you can see a third each week with the Alist.
