Sad how the scientific method is ignored among so many people today.

So having a feeling = God? WTF?

I'm not sure what part of the interview you're referring to, but I don't have a simple explanation like that for belief. God is on the level of an intuition for me (though a crucial one in my life). I honestly wouldn't try to convince anyone of it. I think, for many people it is better not to believe in God, especially if the belief has no intuitive power for them or if such belief has been used to harm them (as it often has).

@@MourningTalkShow I often wonder how people think of experience that is unexplained. Would those that would quickly resort to the "supernatural" explanation compare to those who quickly think the "nonsupernaturalist" explanation compare? Is sufficient evidence part of the criteria? Is reality or magical thinking that has been taught from a young age a criteria? How does the world understand truth from a perspective of everyone thinks they are convinced of it without sufficient evidence???

Is the Bible is God's word the best answer, and we "MUST" believe or burn the best answer to these questions?? Feels like a joke to be honest.

If believing in God gives you comfort? Why does it give you comfort? Why do you believe in something that makes you want it to be reaffirmed on the internet? Are you wanting to be reassured that it's true by others? Perhaps sufficient evidence other than antidotal evidence would help? For me, I'm okay with not knowing. but, I'm not okay with people pretending to know what they don't know!!!

@@kwahujakquai6726 I have a great respect for atheists, especially when they are seeking real understanding. I don't hold the views you mentioned there so I wouldn't be the best person to defend them. I would say that the mind is not scientific by nature, though the scientific method is a great technology for use in scientific discovery.

As Ian McGilchrist advises. The truth embraces paradox. There is both the pure void of unqualified infinity and a universe composed of infinite qualities. There is both God and No God. Tis hard for human awareness to comprehend this paradox. Both are true. Both are false . . . both and . . . not either or.

This is something that has been taking shape for me for a couple of years. Frustrating in a world where answers are considered knowledge, but increasingly affirming if we want to actually live well in this reality.

Understanding what is true for how we understand what is true, only is as we learn what reality is. Truth is honestly, only how what we can understand through our senses. If many wish to pretend to know things outside of what we all can understand through our senses, then we should withhold belief until we can have it demonstrated to us.

If our senses have a best explanation as to why it exists due to perhaps many issues, one should always consider the reality explanations before jumping to the supernatural conclusion.
