Woman...lol...I am 1/2 way through the video & am loving it! Similar story to yours & 2020 I came to Truth too by means of Pastor Joe Fox, Bear Independent, 119 ministries, New2Torah, Almond House, Monte Judah, etc. I live alone & family/friends think I'm nuts, but my son is FINALLY reading the Bible & rethinking things...both of us get humbled on the word "Forever" (out of the mouth of God). Anyway, love your testimony 😊

I came to Torah in 2020. I’m alone in my search for truth as my husband is a PK and he refuses to even entertain the idea that his father and mother got it wrong. I tell him that doesn’t matter. They’re still Saved. Anyways, I have listened to Heidi for several years and imagine my surprise when I heard her talk about this topic. 😀 Like Heidi, I have been reading my Bible through for the past 3 years and it has truly been a revolutionary experience. In the past I could never could get past Leviticus, but now it’s all so exciting! Like with everything I find out I’ve been lied to about, I wish I had learned this years ago so my children would know it!

This is the first time I’ve heard of Heidi, but I agree with her. I came to Torah in late 2019. I’ve read the Bible through with Christy Jordan : seeking scripture since 2020. My husband does not accept Torah and it has been hard. I have also made it hard on myself by not being humble and walking in loving kindness. I want to follow Heidi, I would like to buy some of her products if for sale.

I enjoyed. We're on the 👣👣👣 of: *simple living, * I homeschooled my grandchildren the first 7 years of schooling * We're trying to avoid pharma meds... I was so glad to find Heidi's advice 're thyroid, as our naturopath advised that it's too late to come off it. I'm not giving up that quickly ;-) I found Yeshua / Jesus the other way round. I went to Israel to find a different way of life (more communal, and away from Apartheid South Africa.) I searched for G♡D, and the right rabbi, for some years. A friend told me that I might go all the way there and become a Christian, but I assured her that would never happen. From time to time I'd bump into an ultra-orthodox friend in Jerusalem. He'd ask me whether I'd converted yet, and It answer, honestly, rhat I hadn't found the right rabbi... How surprised I was when I came to believe that Yeshua is Messiah! Suddenly the whole Torah / Tn"ch and New Testament made so much sense. We love Shabbat.. Yes, the feast days are significant .. etc.

Mrs. Heidi is one of my favorite content creators! She reminds me of my grandparents and their beliefs, their perseverance and tenacity. My own parents didn't practice any real religion or belief system while we were growing up and she dissed every single one especially if us kids enjoyed or wanted to join. Yet, I have had such a yearning for quite a while; it's been so deep and no one in the whole family to support me in my journey and research. Heidi just feels like family, a sister, a Mom, a confidant, a teacher and so much more! Thank you for having her on. She's so informative.

I got out of new age practices and became a Christian. I went to my pastor before I got baptized and questioned him about the sabbath and it being in the commandments. He gave me this explanation that I was not totally convinced and I still believed we needed to follow these laws. I like Heidi am worried about my husband not coming along. I’m praying Yah gives me the strength to just say it and tell him my thoughts and my struggles. I need prayers for strength and that my husband and hopefully my daughter who is not a true believer come along with learning the truth.🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

We had not been to church in years due to our disappointment with it. One day we were driving home and I broached the subject and my husband was surprised because he was having the same experience. We subsequently found a congregation and a torah club that we meet with. Our lives have changed, very much so for the better. Study it out Sheila. No one benefits more from personal study than yourself...then you become convicted and receive your answers. Yes, we listen to others, as iron sharpens iron, but never doubt that the spirit will guide you to the truth. What about the feasts is confusing you? In 2021, the spirit had me studying the feasts and the calendar. I had no idea why Iwas studying them. I didn't know we were supposed to observe/celebrate them. As I studied the calendar I quickly learned that the calendar the modern jews and messianics follow is not the same as how the bible orders a calendar. I knew I had to find the truth about it, as soon as I realized the feasts were for me to do. I wanted to show up at the right time. The timing of the feasts is probably the most divisive topic in torah keeping. I judge no one for what calendar they follow, but I urge everyone to test all of the calendars and study, study, study. studythecalendar dot com guides us through this study, and I agree with the conclusions they have come to. In addition,their very lengthy, thorough moon study is an example of how to do a study on any topic, so I recommend that particular study for everyone. Covenant Calendar Classroom channel is where you can find their studies. There is a playlist for the moon study, as well as all other calendar topics that need to be studied...when does a day begin, when does a year begin,when does the month begin. How long is a month? All of these questions need to be answered in a calendar study.

“Simon has just explained how God first showed his care for the Gentiles by taking from among them a people to belong to him. The words of the prophets agree completely with this. As the scripture says, ‘After this I will return, says the Lord, and restore the kingdom of David. I will rebuild its ruins and make it strong again. And so all the rest of the human race will come to me, all the Gentiles whom I have called to be my own. So says the Lord, who made this known long ago.’ “It is my opinion,” James went on, “that we should not trouble the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead, we should write a letter telling them not to eat any food that is ritually unclean because it has been offered to idols; to keep themselves from sexual immorality; and not to eat any animal that has been strangled, or any blood. For the Law of Moses has been read for a very long time in the synagogues every Sabbath, and his words are preached in every town.”” Acts 15:14-21

There is something called “replacement theology” and it is deep within the modern church - sometimes overtly and sometimes covertly. And then there are some that just don’t know they are doing it bc it’s now a passed down and taught doctrine. Seminary, as referred to by some who have been there, is often the death of real relationship with Jesus and Holy Spirit in favour for book knowledge. So “coming to Torah” means that people are reading the Bible for themselves, in context and letting the Bible interpret the Bible. A lot of Christians are confused bc Paul and the epistles are so contradictive to other scripture. However, when OT is used as the foundation and definition of terms, things start making sense and lining up.

I've really been struggling with this concept. I believe that they probably made the fabric they made their garments out of frayed at the edges, and then used a blue string sewn in horizontally to stop further fraying. The Hebrew doesn't say they put them on the 4 corners of their garments, but it says along the edges. I picture 1920s flapper dresses with their fringes, western culture clothing fringes, wven native American clothing. I sure wish we could know for sure. I see the modern tassles as an invention of modern, talmudic Jews, and my spirit bristles at them. I'm praying for clarity on it. I don't see why anyone would make them super long, when Yahusha rebuked the leaders of the day for making them long. But I judge no one. We are all trying our best to rightly divide the word and live in obedience.
@CajunBoudreaux3 ай бұрын
If there is no mention of length in the BIBLE, why would it matter. God knows their heart and if isn’t for the right reason - it is in GOD’S HANDS. 💕
@Ranched-lp3nr3 ай бұрын
@@CajunBoudreaux I agree. The instructions for making them don't include length,but Yahusha accused the pharisees of "enlarging the borders of their garments" to be seen by men. Its a heart issue. As for what I said about the 4 corners, I dug deeper today and found the verse that does say 4 corners or edges. I had read Numbers 15:37-40, which doesn't say 4 corners, but Deuteronomy 22:12 does have the word for the number four in it. I still don't know if they only had 4 altogether though. Much to learn. Praying for the wisdom to understand it.

@@missdebbie6791 Regardless of what you believe, we can make poor judgements of each other who are doing their best to follow HIS word. Some of the most heated arguments come about in regards to names and calendars and THIS was one of the several hypocritical actions I saw from people on this path that caused me to keep it all at arms length. Instead of publicly passing judgement on each other for doing their best to read and follow what it says, if we truly love each other and want to set the right example to the other believers and the rest of the world, these discussions should be done in love and one on one. Not openly accusing others of being "wrong" according to their own opinions.
@missdebbie67913 ай бұрын
@@RainCountryHomestead Nothing said was meant to be hurtful to anyone. It was mentioned a number of times in the video. Yet there is not one verse in scripture that can point a person to Saturday as the Sabbath. So, it's hard to tell people who keep Sunday set apart they are any more wrong. Again, not meant to be hurtful, not said in anger, just an observation.
