Awesome. We also got punished for our laziness to let down tires Dec 2020 at Sossusvlei and also had to use the shovel to clear the wheels after dropping tire pressure. Local wildlife in the Sesriem camp is stunning. Had to be vigilant in campsite at night for scavenging jackals.

Now to the boring Qs: - What did you use for pre-posting Video Editing/Production ….. ? - Am wondering if one (well - me actually) can do that ‘on the Road’ and without having to wait till one has a super WiFi signal etc. - Keen to enjoy the journey (NBO to CPT) and NOT spend too much time dealing with technology - Did you need Namibian SIM Card for your Cell Phones or did your SA ones work OK. Thnx

Thank you! Already looking forward to visiting Namibia again. To answer your questions: 1. I use a free video editor called VSDC and it works great! I film all of the videos on my iPhone 12 and then download them onto my laptop. Once the files are downloaded from iCloud, I do not need signal or WiFi for the editing. I only need WiFi again when I want to upload the video to KZbin or social media. 2. I made a point of it not to get a Namibian SIM card as I wanted to enjoy the time being offline. We caught up with messages etc. when we got to spots with WIFi. I also left all of the editing and posting until after the trip so that I can enjoy as much of it in the moment as possible :) Hope this helps!
