Sister's Rock was quite a surprise, what a stop. This series shows how much accessible beauty there is along Oregon's coast. I'm enjoying your Oregon blog posts as well.

I loved the Sister's Rock stop, took me by surprise for a roadside stop. Glad to hear you're enjoying the blog.

Another great video Mark, as usual. These videos show how it’s possible to shoot beyond sunrise/sunset, how to get creative in flat light, and still come away with nice photos. I loved your approach and creativity for the lighthouse in flat light (13:18), awesome photo! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, man, I was quite happy with that shot, especially because I was bummed out and feeling sorry for myself with the current weather situation. It's these moments that really teach us to go deeper and discover whats possible.

You never cease to amaze me with your awesome videos, everything is so well crafted especially the music. Oregon was remarkable, it surpassed my wildest dreams, such diversity in one state. Thank you once again for accompanying me on this trip and letting me be apart of your videos. P.S. Did I drink the Pepsi? The world may never know!

The Pepsi saga is not done yet. I'm hearing more people say that Sunset was worth Camper drinking a Pepsi. To Be Continued...

I would have bought Camper a 64 oz Pepsi after that wild sunset light!😂

Nicely done, the whole video and the narrative including Mark's poem. I remember loving Cape Sebastian, but it's been a while since I was out there. Isn't that the same area by Bandon Beach?
@MarkHoudePhotography8 ай бұрын
Awesome, thank you! I just checked Bandon Beach is 1 hour and 15 minutes North of Cape Sebastian, so close enough considering the entire coast of Oregon.

Ha - no problem. We're used to it out here! I can't imagine how many New England place names I'd get wrong.

Lots of Native American Indian names here that I still can't pronounce. 🤣

Hey Mark, a bit late to watching as I was still settling down from the trips. You’ve captured this really well, really enjoyed coming along and those views are spectacular. I think you’ve captured it all, impressive seascapes, fog, aerials, teleporting to Mars, and a sudden burning sunset. I love the shot at the cave and the dramatic sunset you’ve captured. Indeed, there’s always a photograph to be has 😁 Sorry to hear about your loss. Hope you are well.

"Pepsi worthy" a new vernacular is born. I won't have a sunset without thinking of Camper....but you left us hanging. Did he have to drink from the dark side? Another great video that brings back memories of my trip along the Oregon coast, there is so much to see there and you correctly said it's a photographer's paradise. Good advice finding the shots regardless of the conditions. I look forward to the next episode and I'm sorry for your loss.

The Pepsi saga isn't over yet, Camper did once admit, that the sunset that night was surprisingly good. To Be Continued...

Great series Mark, I was hoping you'd cover Bandon Beach. That slit in the clouds at sunset was awesome! You have a unique way of storytelling.

Many thanks. Bandon Beach needed another day, I wish we had planned for two days there. The sunset was such a shock, it wasn't looking possible at all. Comes to remind us how nature is surprising us.

This is a great video, I’m glad you enjoyed the west coast and got some beautiful photos, but as an Oregon local, I just gotta tell you it’s pronounced “or-eh-gun”. Next time you visit hit the northern beaches they are also great!

Ha! I've been told lol. Thank you, I appreciate the feedback. I really wish I lived out there, I can see photographing the PNW as a lifetime opportunity. I can't wait to get back.
