Nice conditions on the coast there. In Derbyshire, UK, we have a cave called the Devil’s Arse.

as far as trees and ocean together that place rocks. my first trip it was raining on the way. i thought it was going to be horrible and i wasted a trip. but my camp spot was under a giant red wood and it kept my whole site dry. turned out so nice i went there again the next year. thanks for sharing your experience. ! like the camper van!

I grew up vacationing five minutes north of the Devil’s Punchbowl every year with my family. It was a treat to revisit through your lens. It’s also refreshing to hear that everyone has days of frustration in incredible locations. I feel this so keenly. Can’t wait to see more of your experiences.

great video Todd! Actually, not that it matters much but the seastack you identified as wizard hat is actually howling dog. We thought that it was wizard hat as well and named our beach house after it only to find that the actual wizard hat was north towards table rock😅

Wow that looks like a giant wave coming in at 8:20 carrying what looks like an ark of sorts

From the video t the sea stacks I didn't see the sheer beauty coming in the black and white images you made. Your exposure is spotton. Some of the more beautiful black and white photos I've seen.

One of my best and favourite spots in Oregon,, thank you so much dear Todd. Why you raise the tripod so high? Even more than your hight?

Thank you for listing all the equipment you use. The only thing I couldn't find is the type of lens you used.

I swapped between the Canon 24-70 f/2.8 and 16-35mm f/4 (both EF lenses with adapters)

Had no idea you shot in Bandon. I live in Bandon very close to the beach, just got both m50 Mk2 & m6 mk2, mainly for video. Though I just don’t even know where to start when it comes to shooting pictures of the magic that is here. Though minimal B&W is exactly how i would shoot.

People can also add interest in photos but typically they are not tourists! I know and feel your pain and frustration. That is why I prefer to go to "places less visited". I would share them but then they wouldn't be. LOL

Todd, I don't know... I think you could have put this video's first 35 seconds on a continuous loop and declared success! ;-) Like the music you are choosing to accompany these recent vids. Carry on the quest...back east its just 100 degrees and 200% humidity. So, enjoy it while you can.

Looks like a place that you should revisit when the tide & sunset line up?

Todd, Can you pass along the name of the new landscape website you were creating, in which you'd interview and feature the work of upcoming photographers? I was sure you'd mentioned it in one of your recent videos...I've just gone back and listened to those and couldn't find the mention of it. Thanks, Craig

I'm struck by that high camera position. Most of my favorites are taken from only a foot or two above the sand.
