Hi Tash..Your test and is lovely! I know the pressure with test knitting, it’s a love hate thing for me 😳 oohhh love the yarns you got, such fun. Thanks for the nice words 😊 going to watch your next episode, time has been a juggle lately, so rude when life gets in the way 😆🤣

Tash, your Armor sweater is another triumph! I am going to knit one when the pattern is released---just gorgeous. Another thing I'm adding to my queue after this podcast is the Whippoorwill shawl; I love it too. I always watch your podcast, but hesitate to comment because I don't want to add to your list of things to do (answering the comments), so a quick "heart" is fine 😊

Always enjoy your episodes. ❤ I have been watching from the beginning and have learnt so much. Wish I was as accomplished and clever as you when working out adjustments and selecting lovely yarn choices for different projects. Alot of trial and error for me but you continue to inspire me. I have taken on board many of your tips and logic. Looking soooo forward to your Patty Lyons interview!!!! I was excited as you were when watching the yarn orders from OS being unpacked 😊 Armour sweater looks fabulous. Thank you.

Loved the episode Tash. The armor sweater is beautiful on you! Loved your yarn haul too. I am knitting on the Eva cardigan currently and love the pattern. Just on the last bit of the second sleeve. I used a different yarn from her suggestion, I used a fingering hubby brought to me from Vienna along with Biches et Buches mohair. Very squishy but less sportsy. Will be waiting eagerly for your next episode xx

I absolutely love the Armor sweater. Strangely anough, it looks as if it has waist shaping. It must be because the pattern becomes a kind of spiral and draws it in there. Perfect!

Hello from Canada! I really enjoy watching your episodes. You pack a TONNE of wonderful inspiration and information into each video. I am well-aware of how much time goes into filming, uploading and adding the photos on screen, plus writing and including all the links in the description box, so a big thank you for your time. My queue is growing after each of your episodes... and it's already far too long haha!! Your Poppy Tee in that red is going to be dynamite!! I've used the Peer Gynt and it does have good stitch definition, but not good yardage as you said. De Rerum Natura Ulysse is a desert island yarn for me... I have yet to try the Gilliat... yet. Happy knitting!! Look forward to your next podcast :)

I'm a bit behind in watching youtube so I don't know if my comments will make sense, but here goes. I just wanted to ditto on the test knit deadline thing. I have only done one and purposely chose a small project, a head band, as my maiden test to see how I liked it. I'm glad I did, because even though it was small, I had to restart a number of times because of gauge issues, and I just hated the hole deadline part. It became a total chore, I was surprised at how much I disliked it. I can't wait to hear what you think of Patty's books, I was very tempted to buy Bag of Tricks when it came out so Im curious to hear your thoughts, and I'm really looking forward to seeing your interview. Congratulations 🎉 what an honour and a privilege.

Hi Tash! the Armour sweater is lovely and fits you perfectly! I loved the unboxing, so much fun, I am so wanting some kind of yarn in some kind of poppy red orange color, but I need to first figure out what I want to do (probably either a cumulus tee or an anker tee) and in what yarn (maybe knitting for olive pure silk in bloodorange) but it is so difficult wirh the colors online! would you say the sandnes poppy has some kind of pinkish/strawberry tone to it? because I am looking for some kind or bright red-orange/vintage lipstick red kind of color....and often the colors look different on camera/in pics...🌷
@mostlyknitting8 ай бұрын
I wouldnt say there was any kind of pinkish tone to the Sandes Garn poppy. It is definitely an orange leaning red. I hope that helps. :)
@bluejay55318 ай бұрын
@@mostlyknitting thank you! yes that helps! it does look like the color I may be looking for, so does the knitting for olive bloodorange and the purl soho poppy of your half and half, but that one is out of my reach in Italy, I would have to ask my brother when he comes from the US (and I tend to burden him already with yarns and supplements! so i try to be mindful)

Hello Tash, Your Armor sweater is lovely and I love the colors of your half & half wrap. Whippoorwill shawl is now in my favorites :) I want to knit the armor sweater, but I prefer short rows for better fitting. Does the pattern include short rows ? Thank you for taking time amidst your busy schedule to make this video, I always look forward to your videos every week.
@mostlyknitting8 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for the lovely comments. Armor doesnt have short rows and that was intentional as it just doesnt work with the stitch pattern. Having said that, i normally love short rows but the funnel neckline design means it actually works really well without them. Hope that helps. :)
