Sifu, as far as i remember Big Boss Lifts Bronze Vessel from the 18 Lohan Art is just pushing upward. Here in this version you push upward, sideways and forward an then shoot out. What are the similarities and differences of the two versions in health, internal force, kungfu skills, everday life and mind and spirit development?

Hey Bernhard! These are three different patterns, "Big Boss Lifts Bronze Vessel", "Triple Stretching of Pearl Bridge" and "Double Dragons Emerge from Sea". The purpose of all of them is to develop a lot of internal force, which contributes to all the aspects you mentioned. The differences between the three patterns are only minor, rather in characteristic than effect. For instance, I'd say the first is rooting the most, followed by the third and the second.

@@lalocazadelTai-Chi It is not appropriate to try it without having it learnt properly from Sifu. And when i will have learnt it i don't try, i practice it. But even after learning something from Sifu there still can be questions. I remember a few months ago i thought to myself that's a beginners question which i asked despite having the luck of being a student from Sifu for 10 years. And force training is not right for me at the moment. I have a lot of karmic things to cleans.

@bernhard254 excuse if I seemed rude to you, i was trying to make a funny point and, my point was, that the answer to your questions is not in words, or in another's person experience, but in your own engagement with the practice, and in the resulting afterwards experiences it will grant you. there you will find all you are looking for, if looking for that Was your intention, in the First place. Dear Sifu: here I go with a Little apparently off-topic question: i found my old 0'5 kg ergonomic dumbbells, so i thought: they are easy to handle to practice for kung-fu sets, becouse they are small and do not interfere with movements(but i only can practice punches, for obvious reasons), so, without any qi activating purpose, i made a warm-up of my arms for about 12 minutes, to get a slight toning at the muscles' level,but when i ended,i instantly entered a 6 minutes chi-flow...totally unexpected! Should i consider this warm-up as kung-fu from now on? 😂😂😅😅 How should interpret this experience? Thanks a lot, i still wait to squeeze this video content, for ive been in a personal process so far, and my last weekend seemed like a metamorphic nightmare😂😂😂😅 Thank you a lot for your job in the videos, and specially, for the condensed teachings you share. 💫✨☝✨⚡⚡⚡⚡✨💫 Have a nice week!

@@lalocazadelTai-Chi Even external methods can become internal, once we have the skill. Some ancient methods to train internal force used weights, and even my Sifu used to do them when he was younger. Personally, I prefer to practice open-handed or using the weight of a weapon instead of dumbbells.

@ShaolinTreasureHouse thanks, Sifu: the idea of the dumbbells was just to have a higher external activation, becouse i have to practice in my bedroom these days, and the swords are not viable for the short space available(unless going into ma-bu, then practice a short range of blows, till i get my legs exhausted)... So i just wanted to sweat more, and the dumbbells are easy to handle: it is just me adapting to the space resources, trying to keep on practicing... But i do the "8 directions" southern Method style of practicing, even in my small room 😅🤣😅🤣🥰🥰: Thanks for that, too. So nice you answered so quickly!
