So true the WC system is so broken! My husband still after 16 months no payments nothing but the adjuster throwing a offer thinking he would take it. But he didn’t now he is doing it for money?? So sad almost 30 yrs working for same company and he gets a kick in the AS$ which is unfair. TBI NERVE DAMAGE MEMORY LOSS SEIZURES PTSD DEPRESSION ANXIETY LOSS FUNCTION OF LIMBS but yet he is doing it for tge $.!! We have paid everything out of pocket On the verge of losing our home is what makes me even more mad. So why is there so many rules regulations if they aren’t going to follow them? All they are doing is hurting more the injured worker and his loved ones. Can adjusters and insurance company that represent the employer can they be penalized? I hope so

We are so sorry to read about your husband's situation, these cases do affect the entire family. We hope you guys hired a great attorney to help with the case. Regarding your question about holding adjusters and the insurance company liable for certain penalties, yes they can be held accountable and some cases grow significantly in amounts due to the penalties needed to be paid by those who screw up. Ty so much and yes we have hired the best Attorneys even going thru all this. BTW (pacific workers representing Him) I have not wAnted to say who was representing us . At no fault of Pacific workers that we have had bumps through our experience! Pacific workers have been amazing and fighting for my husband. So thank you 🙏. I wish that adjusters and insurance company would make it easier for those injured workers get a Bit of Humanity back. They don’t realize that the injured workers life is turned upside down losing homes families friends until they have NOTHING left.

The problem is your family is probably perceived as a family with money. So in this communist economy this is why your husband has received so much push back. Workers Comp needs an overhaul and is grossly corrupted by outside influences.

Your husband's injuries sound just like mine. 10 months and had been using my own health insurance. By April 15 , my coverage for necessary therapies has run out. WC has delayed payment til a hearing and has delayed the hearing. They claim "we aren't prepared yet for a hearing " It's just an unethical trick to stop necessary therapies and bankrupt me before that present an offer.

I'm in CA. I was injured at work. I had a law firm for WC the person who represented me for my depo. spoke with the lawyer from my employer before the depo, then my representative told me if I would like to settle before moving forward with the depo. I was also told this would settle for about $10,000. Since I had previously injured the same body parts. which was a few yrs ago. The previous injuries where not with the same employer but in the same work capacity. However, this jury I will need surgery for a partial tear to my rotor cuff. I was not happy to when my representative was so ready for me to settle. I decided to find another law firm. Now with the New law firm things are going very slow I had 3 depos and my injury has still the same. I feel as I'm just getting nowhere, help!!!

What about reimbursement for a bankruptcy attorney due to drowning in debt for 9 months since the insurance company did not do what they were legally entitled to do by providing indemnity benefits?

What if you are under a car that is on a lift, the lift breaks and the car falls on your head? basically you were there breaking the cars fall.

Ufff, that's awful. If this happened to you at work, you are definitely entitled to workers' comp benefits. How did the car fall? Was it not placed properly, was someone else involved? There might even be a third-party claim. We are just a call away if you need assistance :) 800 606 6999.

Get an attorney. The doctors don't care about you. They see injury and fix it. Attorney is the only way you're going to get paid for a loss. Most states have a fixed amount for the type of body part.

If you are not represented by an attorney, will DEU do a "legit" rating...DEU did mine and criticized, wrong category, the way the QME doc did the rating....

I was injured as a caregiver by a patient back in Aug 2022. I got a C&R offer for $35,000 from my claims specialist. $8600 for future lost wages and the $26,400 for medical. I have knee injury and just found out I have a fractured to my foot because of my knee constantly giving out and falling. My doctor has stated a few times that I could be looking at knee replacement surgery in 10+ years. I feel like $26,000 is a very low offer for future especially if I need a knee replacement surgery. And I know those can be pricey especially with all add-ons of physical therapy, etc. I don’t even know where to begin with a counter offer. I was injured in CA (Nevada county) I’m living half time in CA & half time in Idaho because my family is now in Idaho. Would you guys be able to take me on as a client.
