Love the vids. Straight talking , no bullshit and no hidden sales agenda’s.keep up the good work. 61 years old and have shot and owned a lot of air guns in my time. I’ve finally settled on two guns that I love and are fantastic. A world record limited edition Ghost and a deep black limited edition Ghost. Both in .177. After a lot of pellet testing, they love Baracuda 8’s and FT’s.The world record gun is set up with night vision and is amazing. Thanks for the review.

Just got back into shooting after 20+ years away, bought a used Compatto Sniper XR……then discovered Benchrest shooting…..regretting buying the XR because of this gun…it’s now on my want list…..I have two kidneys so if all else fails funds wise 🤣🤣…..best review I’ve seen on this gatt, to the point, real world conditions and if your stacking at 50 like that it’s more than enough for BR….you’ve sold me on getting one now…..🤙

Just picked up a .177 Ghost and shot it all day yesterday indoors with JSB Exacts 8.44 4.52 and QYS Domed 8.48 4.50 at 35 yards. Absolutely amazing accuracy, and I’ll be at 50 yards in a couple of days time. I’ll be adding Barracuda 8’s into the mix to see which pellet it likes the most. At 35 yards both pellets were equally good. This is a top Airgun for the money!

I own a ghost 👻 and I will never part with it as its so accurate and hassle free and built like a tank beautiful machine what more can i say....oh its in .177 and lazer accurate out to 30meters and beyond on a calm day its not pellet fussy but it works best with any pellet over 9grains. If you want to give all of the air rifles a fair shout it wouldn't be too difficult to do the shooting early or late in the day. The UKA at least has a high proportion of low winds early and late in the day. You'd got to question whether testing in windy conditions is more a test of the pellet than the rifle

@robwendes1849 I shoot the rifles every day over a couple of weeks and actually get to know the guns capabilities. The day we film is just a visual for people to see. Hence why some guns that shot poorer groups on filming day were put higher in the rankings than others. On my range, the wind is calmer after 5pm and before 8 am....... so, when possible I shoot as much as I can in these windows.

With a new rifle (to me) benchmarking, by shooting iin one of the many early morning or evening in light winds demonstrates the rifle in the same conditions. Your tests don't prove anything because you haven't shown the rifles in equal conditions. You've added uncertainties. You asked for honest feedback but you don't want to adapt to it.

@jonathanhawke2995 hello mate, yeahhhh the wind is a pain out here, but like I say on the vids, I live with each gun for a week and shoot it in all sorts of conditions, the range test is really just for content, so the place it earns on the board takes everything into account. And with me not getting my bum tickled by a shop or a manufacturer, I can share my opinions freely! Haha I'm down the range all day today, when I get in tonight I'll have a gander at your channel and get myself subbed! Yeah, I have a member of our range that has a cricket 2, it seems pretty good. I’ve got both vixen is better in my opinion ghost is fine from the bench but walking around with it and cocking it while elevated brings a whole load of issues on mine pellets dropping back into the action clogging up and damaging the hammer spring and giving accuracy and power inconsistency great video as always

I would say, it's the vixen right now, due to its simplicity.... there's minimal O rings, and no tiny levers, screws, ball bearings, springs or other typical fiddly crap to go wrong...... unlike weihrauch, bsa and air arms. Although the vixen isn't the most handsome of guns.

@ryancameron5791 I havnt had a proper go with an M4 yet, but so far, for me the AGT VIXEN is brilliant with no real flaws, as is the BRK GHOST. I would run an AGT over any UK brand, hands down!

I use Hades in all my brocock rifles (pathfinder and ranger ) ,my mate has a ghost and he uses qys in 177 and they are accurate as well 👍

There's no right way to use mounts. I use my cantilever this way around as on one of my other rifles, the magazine will foul if it was flipped the other way. In this configuration, it will fit all of my guns without removing the scope from the mount.

Great video. Next time take the aftermarket shroud off and put on the original. I have one of these aftermarket shrouds by Halinfax and while it’s super quiet it does open the groups up a bit more. The Ghost is at its most accurate without any mods on it. As it comes from factory is at its best. 👍🏼👍🏼

Because of the conditions. I am not judging the guns on a 10 minute recorded range session. I use each gun for a couple of weeks, shooting it every day, looking for accuracy and consistency. I gain a highly nuanced experience of each gun doing this, thus giving me an accurate opinion of each guns place in the market, which I then use the white board to record my findings. If I only used the recorded range session to judge each rifle, I would need to only record in perfect weather conditions...... which is 3 times per year.

@the_Loose_Rivet Yes, it was ordered by the owner with the regulator adjuster as the owner wanted the ability to adjust the regulator pressure if necessary.... but he hasn't needed to. The barrel is totally standard, but the owner fitted an aftermarket shroud, which most GHOST owners claim negatively affects the accuracy, but he didn't think so, so we decided to leave it on. I much prefer adjustability in my airguns, as most come from the factory with a terrible 'tune'. most guns could really do with a bit of time to achieve a decent regulator and hammer spring balance to aid consistency and air efficiency. But, like I say, in this case, the gun was sub12 and not tuned. Thanks for the comment and for watching!!!
