I have to share with you ladies since you spoke of the gentleman that was there for his fiancé’ . A couple years ago I kept asking my husband (now going on 37 years) what he wanted for his birthday…. He smiled and said “I want to take you to Tolt Yarn and Wool” and so we did. I have pictures on my Instagram of driving up, the excitement as I had never been there before. And maybe you’ve heard about Tolt? I know that years back it was mentioned quite a bit in different podcasts- Susan B Anderson went there at one point when she was in Seattle for a show. Anyways, that day is Just one of my happy memories of being the lucky recipient of this man to share life with.God is so good!

Happy Saturday ladies. Love your podcasts and how wonderful that you get to share your hobby with each other. I have been an avid sock knitter for over 10 years so I am what you might call a sockaholic. Over 100 pairs and counting. I started out knitting TAAT and now I use 9” circulars for all my colorwork socks so I don’t have to worry about ladders. My favorites are ChiaoGoo and HiyaHiya. A designer that I also like in addition to Crazy Sock Lady is This Handmade Life. Her patterns are beautiful and most are $3.50. A bargain these days and more money for more yarn❤

Hi Diana, I may have misled you - the colour of the yarn is a very rich old gold from a local dyer called Fiber Lily - it is on her super soft sock base 75% superfine Australian merino and 25% nylon 💕🌸

I love your podcasts! Thank you for the time and effort you give to bless us (and to the Grandpa who offers to watch the littles and to the husband who edits and uploads the podcasts, thank you all!) My knitting queue is exploding thanks to you two 😉. I probably a similar age to Diana (also a grandma) and often find the projects she selects to be of particular interest. My daughters who are more in Katie’s age group and also don’t have much knitting time, would love Kaite’s selections. I am in the want to love, but don’t, knitting socks. Diana, what brand 9” circulars do you use? Did you pick them for a reason or go with something someone recommended to you? If you have tried others, what made you select these? I feel like I’ve bought so many needles and would like to finally find the perfect fit. Thanks again. I can’t wait to one day catch your “live” and get to chat with you. You truly feel like friends.

Linda, such sweet words, thank you so much. The 9” circular sock needles are Chiagoo. This is the brand my LYS carries and I like Chiagoo tips. They definitely take some getting used to and I would definitely recommend the Crazy Sock Lady’s patterns/videos. I also like the Addi Rocket2 needles they are the ones that I’ve talked about that have texture on the needles. Kaity is definitely more classic with her knits and me, I’m all over the place!😂 Thank you so much for watching and your kind and thoughtful comments. ❤Diana
