at 55 min, the problem of causation is that Max goes with assertion instead of allowing as first cause. The shell came first, not the chicken, although I forget the scientific reasoning there's an episode of Quirks and Quarks one could look up, on CBC radio 1, Feb '24 the second Saturday in the month I think. Perhaps this could translate the perception problem as a realization and a statistical inference where self encapsulates whichever level of UTOK by realizing then is called to a different level by inference to a broad viewpoint. If Relevance Realization in a salience landscape is cognitive assertive shell building that matches the level or shell in the UTOK, the problem is in how and when does genetics and senses come in as statistical inference, to knit together a new shell. Perhaps a pheremone/olfactory genetics/squalene shark space filling curve going to mathematical cognitive processing where RR is possible. This might be disrupted by a human build landscape where the materials are assertive, which means lacking so the person has to be more assertive in the idea landscape in order to fulfill as self. One way to see this, when humans embraced the grass of the savannah as food, the nose becomes masked by a slight residue build up over time and perhaps initially this was good as the prefrontal developed more. Society grows and becomes more efficient which enhances the problem. It becomes a multiple effect inside the person, which is also hard to realize when the effects are so diverse as neurotransmitter tweaking, negative mood enhancement by anaerobic conditions/bacteria where they shouldn't be, constipation, drugs like sugar needed to restore vitality where the lost vitality drives behavior. Tthen a built landscape of permissions and scapegoats that closely fits the triadic relations of grass, herd and pack object, without the health of it's assertiveness gathered into a dynamic cohesive intelligent object like the original. That object is very hard to break free from, for us the trick is to break into it then leave mostly, which might preserve the knowledge by reducing stress. Since the salience landscape is all the culture and other people which has this inferential capacity for the person, and production value increase affects this, and the person in different ways, but the idea landscape is compelling.
