Jim should make the Monogram Weld Five holes and Norris nine holes in 1/25th scale. They would be exact replicas for the seventies kits.

Sent here from a link off the Texas show and see it has been exactly a year since I was in this post. Yikes. My Jim stuff is all boxed up with the rest of my model room. Someday I will be back home and re-settled again. I had forgotten those HM wheels in 1/24. Handy if one were to want to build a classic Grand American entry eh?

Got some good looking stuff
@briancarsen63153 жыл бұрын
All of Jim's stuff is just incredible! If I am not mistaken, I think he also has some 180/junior Johnson headers available to replace the 1/24 scale monogram headers that look like a busted ribcage when assembled. These are a direct replacement for the kit parts. And he also makes some incredible headers that don't merge under the oil pan, I have a set of them and they are just amazing!

Great box of stuff. I thought I saw something else but I have expunged it from my short term memory. I will remember if though from 1980s short tracks everywhere. :)

Very nice! Good to hear you so excited about receiving your "Christmas" present! 😋 Does JR 3-D print parts other than his for people if they provide him with a master/original for scanning? Thanks!
@TheLukaCeeChannel3 жыл бұрын
He sells to everyone. Not scanned parts. He designs them all in his computer. Just email him. If you go to the Salvinos JR link in the description of the video. You will find his contact info there. There is nothing about these parts on that web site.

Astounding detail in those parts, nice job Mr Rogers! I'd gladly join the builders club if it wasn't for the Facebook aspect, same with your other stuff Luka. I just don't do the TwitFaceSnap thing period.

I am not a huge fan of social media either. Maybe use your wife's name so boss or coworker can't see??
@joeculpjr30283 жыл бұрын
I'm not afraid of bosses or employers knowing my hobbies, I just don't want every/any Tom,Dick and Harry know every aspect of my life. As for using my wife's account, I know you didn't and couldn't have known, but I lost my wife unexpectedly in June of last year

@@joeculpjr3028 I'm very sorry for your loss! I had no idea . I feel like an idiot now As far as facebook...I'm not a fan of it. I don't have much info on there. I also set my privacy to friends only. I have an avatar and no pics of me. I understand your reservations with social media. There's no reason you can't enjoy building these fine kits even if you abstain from social media. Jim has some 3d printed parts that are simply incredible! If you call SalvinosJR and select "2" you will get Jim. He's a great guy...I'm sure you could figure out a way to get your desired goodies.

Thank you Brian. But please, don't worry about it. Like I said before you had no idea, how could you, so no worries ok. As for the information on Mr Rogers thank you. For now sir stay safe,have fun and build something will you!

Those are awesome parts! I bought a few MPC NASCAR kits on close out at TG&Y so long ago that I think they were about a $1.The instruction sheets had all kinds of NASCAR info and driver history that was cool but I needed the parts for my own dreams.

Where is a good place to get some ordinary steelies (1/24 or 1/25) for regular cars? (Not Nascar). I buy a lot of Revell and AMT car kits (among others) and they usually don't have the option of having steelies. You have to build the car with the hubcaps in place. I often like to build my cars as old beaters without the hubcaps.
