Good to see you back at it. When I watched you build the wings ect I had no idea how much more work was ahead. Work for you, fascination for your viewers. Cheers Michael

Coming right along Algy! I'm stuck in Armenia at the moment.....won't get home for another 4 days. It'll be 2 weeks since I've been home.....all my covering materials should be waiting on me!!

Its a good idea to seal those bolts with resin & keeping them spaced using the coils.

@@Payne2view thanks I thought it was a reasonable solution. Hope to get a chance to look at your jaguar video, you know I worked on them at RAF Coltishall.

Looking good Algy. Does your T88 have a non mixed shelf life? I only ask as you mentioned at the very beginning of the build that you were struggling to get it and is this the same batch. Just curious that is all.
@flyingkub4 ай бұрын
Yes T88 has a shelf life but as it is a none structural part I was happy to use it (2 months over) I don't have any more structural bonding to do and if I find some I have forgoten about I will use West Systems aircraft approved resin, which is available in the UK. A good question though Giles.

Cool. Why doesn't anyone ever sandwich a fire blanket in between the wood and the aluminum. There lite and can withstand fires up to 1,076 degree F or in your case, 580 C.
@flyingkub4 ай бұрын
@@outlawflyer7868 I don't know it's light and cost effective as well. Actually the Carbolane paper bit is stable at 1250degC or 2282degF

@@outlawflyer7868 this stuff only a fiver and copes with more but your fire blanket is a reasonable cheap option.
