in the crash of 2008 my wife and i made up 300 fliers and posted them around our area . i was able to work off that initial start for 3 months.

have you tried the P D Q clips from Blakes. you can set up and build straight over plinth bricks. I use a BT ENGINEERING block profile clamp at the top and never have to worry about tight line pulling profile out of plumb.

Would love to have someone give some history on older bricks and newer bricks. When and where they were used. Advantages and disadvantages. Best types of mix for different brick types. Maybe I'm just way in too 🧱.

Interested in the business side of it. Some content that could also be good is how brickies could maximise their earnings, always wondered if it's worth it for an individual bricklayer to set up a ltd and then invoice instead of just getting paid 'normal' ie. on the CIS scheme as a sole trader. Would anyone even put up with that? What about VAT registration? Appreciate that it's worth it if you're running a few men but if you're one guy would you take home more?

We try and stay away from day work completely mate. It’s easier to know what you want to charge if you know exactly what your compnay over heads are plus profit margin 🤙🏻
