I can never understand why Mary would ever have other children. Surely her whole life of purity was just for God's one and only Son, Jesus. Not sharing dna with any other human.

God’s command is to be fruitful and multiply- there’s absolutely nothing wrong with Mary getting pregnant several times! And according to my Bible ALL have sinned - even Mary - and fallen short of the glory of God. Even Mary needed a Savior. So did Joseph. So did the disciples. So does the Pope, but he appears to have rejected the Savior and taken the role for himself.

Not keeping the Sabbath and eating unclean animals, celebrating Easter and Christmas are far more serious sins. In Christ there’s supposed to be neither male nor female- did someone not get the letter?
