I would like to see more of how nature has taken over - Moss growing on cars, trees growing through and lifting the cars up.

I will do more of that when we walk old junkyards, thanks for the suggestion and for watching!

I went there about 1990-93 timeframe, I needed some parts for a 68 Torino. I Payed a guy to guide me thru "yards", he insisted on carrying a very large machete, said it was required for snakes. Back then, and me being from New York at the time, kind of made me nervous, this place was very remote at the time. Anyway, I got what I needed and had a great story to tell folks about how many cars were in these woods, MANY of them muscle cars from the 60's.

They dont sell parts anymore, so you may have been one of the last to buy the,. Great story, thanks for sharing!

Cool Scotty! There is an old drag race track near there with a bunch of cars in the woods near it, but I couldn’t find it

I have been there so many times and it's always the same no cars are for sale or parts, it's a shame I just went there about 3 months ago. Winter is the best time to go no mosquitos or any gnats. He has some collectible cars especially the 2 cyclones

No my friend it's the Torino's cousin it's a 69 Mercury cyclone, they also made one that looks like a Talladega but one will have a red stripe and the other one will have a blue stripe, the red stripe was the Cale Yarborough Edition the blue one was the Dan Gurney Edition they were all white just different decals and Interiors

It's kind of neat keeping this old junkyard as a museum display like area, but it's also a shame that they don't sell parts that could be used to complete restorations.... Personally, I think they charge way too much to enter just to walk around and look at old wrecked and rusty junks.
@JunkyardsandBarnFindswithSean2 жыл бұрын
I guess they need to make money, but you can leave and come back as much as you want (and I didnt hide or delete your comment Karen, you are one of our oldest -longest, not oldest- viewers and I would never do that. Plus April would not put up with it as she reads your comments and looks forward to them.

Pretty sad that none of this old Iron can be used or put back on the Road. People may Love the content of your videos as I do. They are also so covered in pine tree needles. It’s just one day going rot back into the ground. Not your typical junkyard video. 😢 The best part was the Lincoln that Elvis purchased.

There’s a lot of really cool stuff there. There’s another Johnny Cash truck there there’s some other things you’re going to see. I spent about four hours there so you’re going to see some upcoming videos over the next couple days with some cool stuff in it

Nice to see the old relics but so many have been picked clean.with scrap prices so high thin out the herd and do some serious crushing you can't make money as a business just letting people do videos
@seandever87882 жыл бұрын
Actually this place has been in business for 90 years, and has not been selling parts for probably a decade. They actually do make a pretty good living charging people to come in and walk around as well as camp there and they charge $25 per person and there was a lot of people there, and they charge 30 to film. There was a photo shoot with a girl that was half naked there. So they haven’t sold parts for a long time and most of these cars are not stripped. Most of them are fairly complete
