There was a comment about sugar levels. I can vouch for that statement. This advice was given to me from a few micro soldering techs in Hongkong and China to take something sweet 1/2 hour before the work is to commence. You will have to experiment what works best for you and how much and if it is ok for health issues. I did do this and it definitely works for me. Your advice is also sound. The sugar imbalance can be caused by many things, If you can give it a try.

Im really going to take a deeper look into this sugar thing. Seems legit.

Thanks for the response just a little add-on thought to my comment Eating a (lot) of sugary foods causes a sudden spike in your blood sugar levels, but then they also drop back down again very quickly. This can result in shaky hands also. and cause other symptoms such as weakness and irritability. To stop your hands from shaking, you should consume more (slowly) digested carbohydrates such as sweet cereals and fruits. People that consume too much alcohol will usually always suffer shakes to some degree Since the liver’s job is to process alcohol first because it enters the bloodstream fast drinking can cause low blood sugar because nutrients are not transformed into energy (glucose) for our cells as they would normally be You might not notice this too much on everyday things depending on how much of a drinker a person is, but will really show it's self under the microscope as the saying goes. Again this is just one piece of the puzzle of why we shake or have small hand tremors.

Nice video Justin ! Another trick i learned is if you do microsoldering and you are really struggling with those tiny caps or resistors(too much coffee) you can you your tweezer to hold down the iron tip(preferably ceramic so you dont dissipate any heat) works wonderfully. Learned it from Jessa :P

lol i grab my hot air sometimes and guide it with the ceramics when im bored lol thats awesome that she does a similar thing with the iron.

I use the thick roll of my kapton tape to rest the palm of my hand in. Also easier to work on board in holders and it raises your hand up off the table :)

Nice breathing Justin. I find that not answering your phone at weekends works for me. If so start work on Wednesday. I dont shake a bit ;) Joking aside. Did you ever see Jason sts vid "iPhone Component Size Demo vid"? Thought it shows just how tiny some of the components and shaking at a minuscule level

I have not seen it, I'll go check it out. I always remember seeing the match head photo online, that has all of them on a match head.

Good video bro! I have heard that raising the blood sugar level a little bit is also good tho calm down shaky hands before soldering tiny things. Note: (Do not eat too much sugar tho!)

Man, such a balance with the coffee and work. Why can't we just have both!
